And yes the food was good. Crab cake is one of the best we ever tried here in California. Pasta were good too.
Only thing is the staff admitted she doesn’t know much about wine and thus cannot make any recommendations.
This is a hidden gem!! Off the beaten path but with incredible food.
Food was fantastic and service was incredible.
We had an incredible beet salad with Burata- which was delicious. Followed by an Eggplant pesto pizza with sausage that was delicious. Even the chicken wings were great. It all made us want to they their non-pizza offerings like Lobster Ravioli or pan Seared Dover Sole.
We finished everything in just an hour, including taking care of the bill. It was pretty empty when we got there, but by the time we left it was starting to get busy and our waitress was able to keep everything moving, and the kitchen was quick.
We ate there around 6:15 on Wed night and there weren’t very many people there- even during a busy harvest season in October.
If you want some gourmet food without needing the fancy ambiance or high price tag of most restaurants in the area this is your spot. A real hidden gem.
Pros: The food is really good, and portions are large. It was served quite fast. The Philly steak sandwich and the pesto sandwiches were really nice. They have a kid's menu (pasta or pizza). There is an outdoor seating area, it is clean and spacious, and we did not have to book. It has its own parking area. Also, it is walking distance from TrainTown and really appropriate to bring kids.

The food was amazing. A good judge of a good chef is great Calamari.... theirs is perfect! We had the scallops and fetticini that were a Special and it was so incredible!
Lovely owners, delicious food, great service, all in all a very pleasant experience. Varied menu from pizza to burgers to Salmon salad. Something for everyone! We ate inside but outside dining is also available. Close to downtown Sonoma but the advantage of on site parking. Great experience will be back a bunch!
Was a experience great, a traditional Italian food restaurant, comfortable, the server was kinda friendly, when changed the order we asked. The food was delicious and on time. The others workers were attentive to what was needed at all the tables in especial the water too, excellent team working. All place clean. Hopefully, I going to visit again soon! Buenísimo.

Some of the most intense flavor I’ve ever had in Italian food. Very citrusy and my spicy sausage tasted almost like tikka masala. It was so filling we could barely finish half (had leftovers later of course). The wait staff was so kind and inviting, particularly the lady with the Japanese inspired tattoo half sleeve. Overall incredible experience. I will definitely be back!!!

Photos do not do justice to the quality of food Jacob and his wife create. While I’d like to say which dish is better- I cannot. Been here many times with family and “foodies” -all rave about this place. Helena potatoes and large portion ribeye, lasagna and scampi are some favorites. Gluten free pizza they serve is one of the best our family has tasted. But the key to this spot? The sincere owners who craft your meal. Don’t be fooled by this location - maybe a 1/2 mile off the plaza - it is the heart of Sonoma restaurants in our families opinion!
After a long drive through dark stormy weather, I decided to stop at a favorite restaurant rather than dine alone at home. I enjoyed a bowl of warming butternut squash soup and chicken roulade with perfectly grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. I am never disappointed dining at Jacob’s. Though thanks to the rain, I still dined alone! Haha
Excellent PIZZA!!!!! Love this place. Veggie Pesto Pizza is AMAZING (ask for an extra side of pesto-😋).
Take-out is super easy because they have a parking lot (which is rare in this town).
Jacobs is a casual place with beer & wine. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is in Sonoma California. A great place! Wonderful friendly service, and delicious food! Highly recommend if you're in Sonoma wine tasting, and want a great dinner afterwards!
Delicious! Menu included unique pastas and pizzas. The spicy sausage penne was amazing but the chicken piccata will bring us back for sure. A must try for all visiting Sonoma!!
Very nice location and the food is very tasty. If you sit outside you an eat grapes right from the vine. They are tasty like their food. I had a pizza and it was very well cooked. I would return.
I've been in this area for years and never knew it was there. Took the kids to train town, saw the sign, and said to myself, "Let's just go here". Because with kids..... You want the waiting as less as possible. LOL. Good food, quick, awesome, friendly staff. Desserts were phenomenal. Definitely going here again.
