As someone from New York, I have a high standard when it comes to bagels and I have to say Homegrown Bagels impressed me with their lox special on everything bagel. It’s not quite a NY bagel but pretty darn good and the best I’ve had in California.

Best bagels this side of Manhattan! In business well over 40 years with the same owner and same baker. Get there early for the best variety. Everything is fresh every day. A pillar of the community, Stuart gives much more than he takes. Sonoma loves you!
5/5 New York style bagels baked fresh daily. The bagels has a light crunch outside and dense inside. We got a veggie bagel (add an egg) and a breakfast bagel and both were delicious. Highly recommend.
Great place to grab a bagel and coffee. Ordered a bagel with cheese, cream cheese, and avocado and it was delicious. Nice place for a quick breakfast bite of you are in Sonoma.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been frequenting Homegrown Bagels. My go-to’s are usually the Spinach Parmesan or Tomato Basil bagels to go with their fresh handmade cream cheese. Pictures here is the everything bagel Breakfast Sandwich with cheddar & sausage. All I needed was some dipping sauce
The places have the same Baker for around 30 years Bagels rarely ever change in quality and consistency they are tasty and they have bottleness coffee

Came here two of the three mornings we were in town. Bagels are amazing - fresh, chewy, and crust is perfect! And don’t forget to get a strudel - so flaky and the filling is perfectly lightly sweet! People who worked there were so friendly and kind! We’ll be back!
Hello from Germany! I was an exchange student at SVHS in 92, graduating 93. I am so happy to see my favorite bagelshop is still there! My favorite: the garlic bagel with your fantastic herbal cream cheese! I miss that taste! Everytime I have friends visiting Sonoma, I tell them to stop by Homegrown
Their ranchero bagel is the absolute best ever! The staff is always on top of your order, and the food is prepped fast and efficient! Definitely my daily go to.
Stuart is the nicest person!!! he has been providing the Sonoma International Film festival and the media arts program bagels for years!!! we really appreciate him.. We also look forward to his bagels as often as possible. Thank you for being a business that has been in Sonoma for so many years!!

Best bagels in town. Stewart, the proprietor, is from the R coast and he has brought his baking talents to share with our community. Homegrown Bagels have been a favorite for many years. Excellent coffee and other fares available (breakfast and other sandwiches).

Stopped in for a quick bagel. Ended up leaving with a bag of bagels, two beverages and 2 open-faced tuna melt bagels!! Wonderful, fairly priced, quick and delicious! We even met the owner, Stuart. Nice guy, friendly staff. (Be warned, cash or local check only). A definately must for locals.
