Angelo’s is a neighborhood joint in a great neighborhood. The Italian food isn’t over-complicated, but it’s hot, fresh, and seriously tasty. The pizzas (and pizza fries) are standouts, but you really can’t go wrong here. The reason I keep coming back, though, isn’t the food. The service here is something special. This is a family-run place, and most days you’re likely to meet, and be treated like, a member of the family. They’re kind, and friendly, and they care that you’re there. That’s a rare thing, no matter how fancy the restaurant.
Quick story. I met a friend for lunch at Angelo’s recently. She had had a rough day. There was a little crying, and a lot of talking, but mostly we needed time and space to decompress. When many restaurants are focused on nothing but turning tables, Kayla gave us all the time we needed. No one hovered, and we never felt rushed. Service and food were excellent, we had a post-lunch round of cribbage, and we never got the impression that we were in anyone’s way, or that anyone was waiting for us to leave. That might not seem like a big deal, but it was exactly what we needed. And it made a loyal customer of me.
That’s my story. Next time you need good, honest food and good, honest service, treat yourself to Angelo’s. It will be money and time well spent.
I love everything about Angelo's Italian Restaurant. Pat and her crew take care of you with fabulous service, and signature entres like Italian Fries/sauce and the antipasta salad and mini garlic loaves that will knock your socks off. Love Love LOVE. Thank you for so many years of great service. I remember going here when I was in high school for lunch and after our school dances; I went there for lunch as an employee of the SSP school district, and then came back recently as "SSP Alum" to come back to the best restaurant in town. There's never been another place as good as it is here! You gotta go!
We love Angelos. The customer service is great, like a hometown feel. Love the baked zitti and their pizza is the best around

Good people good food. Can't go wrong here. Dont forget the Italian fries
Angelo's is one of our top pizza places in the Twin Cities. I recommend the deep dish pizza 🍕 as well as any of their pasta entrees. Their homemade garlic bread is outstanding.
Always friendly staff too. We have even met Angelo himself in the past.
There are 8 massive booths along the sides & many tables. There's also a party room in the back
The restaurant is always clean. Lots of parking available.
Open for both lunch & dinner. I highly recommend Angelo's!
Craving for Italian fries forever and happened to be in town for lunch. So good! Great pizza and great service.

Angelo's has been a local favorite for decades. Myself and two friends arrived on a Tuesday evening around 7pm. We were informed that dine-in closes at 8, but the take out area is the section that is open until 9. There was only one other table with customers when we arrived. They were really chill and friendly. One friend has allergies and this is one of the places she can go where they are not only happy to accommodate her order, but she is such a regular that the server had it practically memorized. The food came out quickly and it was a very pleasant experience.
The food here is amazing. If you feel like meatballs they got the best ones to eat. Angelos is my one of my top places to go when I want savory food.
