Delicious Korean food and super friendly staff. We tried a few of the popular items off of the menu and all of them were great. Kimchi fried rice is amazing along with the sweet potato fries. Thank God we stumbled upon this place after planning on coming to the ramen spot across the street with a li
Sat by the window. Had the seafood noodle soup — def recommend. The fried Brussels sprouts, not so much. Staff is super friendly and tunes they were playing were great.
Very good food - but when they called to inform us of the prix fix Valentine's day menu they told me it was $45/pp. When the bill came it was significantly more - and we didn't upgrade anything. The menu was well put together and started with an amazing chestnut soup. But then all the "hot" food ca
I came here with a reservation and really liked it! We got seated immediately and our food was super high quality. Good: The ambiance is super intimate and a great date setting - I really like the Korean friend chicken with soy garlic. I also loved the jjajeong noodles since they had so much flavor
Highly recommend this place! Best Korean seafood pancake in the city - perfect amount of seafood, light, and crunchy! The fried chicken is also as delicious as it looks in the pic. On top of that, the staffs here definitely went above and beyond for customers dinning experience here.
Small menu but each item is made really well. The staff did rush us through our meal which was unusual as the restaurant wasn't busy.
The best Korean fried chicken in sweet sauce I have had. A big lover of this crispy chicken and there marinade was absolutely delicious. I wish I order two portions now! The seaweed salad (a dish I would not normally opt for) was really nice. It complimented the fried chicken very well as it was li
Very nice small eatery around union Square. Limited menu but they are delicious. Very friendly staff. Definitely i recommend and i will go back to try a few more dishes.
Stumbled on this place while wandering through the streets near our hotel and found this a wonderful night out. We eat a lot of KBBQ back home and this was a bit different to that experience. The kimchi arancini was amazing and the selection of mains all looks fantastic. The kimchi fried rice was ve
I’ve been to this restaurant several times in the past but just tried it again tonight after a long time. Seems like they changed quite a few things on their menu and expanded it! The portions are definitely smaller than they used to but the flavors are still there. Tonight we tried: - the Korean
Very good Korea food, fried chicken and beer! Their edamame is very special, not like other place (just boil and add salt), they put special sauce in it, tastes very good. Fried chicken is average level not bad
After my wife and I read reviews of restaurants within a one-mile walk of our hotel near Union Square for an hour, we chose Barnzu Korean restaurant. Our dining criteria for the evening were Asian cuisine, a moderate price, and positive reviews. As we entered the restaurant, the sole server immedia
As others have noted, the fried chicken appetizer is legit. Really good. I found the Kimchi fried rice decent. Prices are high, but this is downtown SF and the rent must be obscene. Main complaints—service too attentive. I needed to defend my plate when I was not yet done three times. They seem to w
wow!! , we liked it a lot !! the food was delicious and the hosting was great. not that expansive. we liked the Kimchi Arancini and the beef pancake. you should try it out !
A modern take on classic Korean dishes. The menu isn’t big but what they do have they do very well. A nice cozy place for a date night or a small group of friends. Attentive service with a welcoming feel.
What can I say,..... BAM, BAM- BAM. LOL. Excellence in service and full of wonderful flavors. Barnzu gave an atmosphere that enticed our taste buds and added a yummy memorable tasty excursion.
Great Korean food in San Francisco. Good mix of traditional fried chicken to bulgolgi. Service was friendly and proactive. Only thing missing was dessert. They don't serve it!
It's not easy finding fancy Korean food in SF. This one hits the mark and food is very delicious. They also have some non Korean eats. Try the brussels sprouts, creamy pasta, pancake and stone pot. Price SF standard but worth the visit on a date.
