Do not be fooled, this restaurant is only a diner in name and design. On my most recent visit I ordered the fried seafood platter and a side salad. I half expected the diner version of seafood deluxe what I received was far and away the best fried seafood platter I’ve had on Long Island. The scallops were super fresh, calamari was tender and the fries tasted like potato not freezer. Layer in the little extra touches like lots of fresh lemon, a homemade tarter sauce that had real flavor and a few sprigs of deep fried parsley leaves made this dish a home run. Service was wonderful, cheery, quick to laugh and super informative about the menus. All in this is the place you’ve been looking for.

So this place is usually from what I see very packed, drove by on our way to Hanks Pumpkin Town looked cool decided to check it out after. As soon as you walk in it's not your typical diner. It's Chic, funky, retro and vibrant. That yellow is a signature look. Staff is very friendly but the wait was e4xtremely long and for that it is the only reason I gave a 4 Star. Once we received our starters it was amazing freshly made humus work warm pita bread, fresh made lemonade... The soup of the day clam chowder, YUMMY with a hint of bacon.... Main selection was the Salomon it was moist and delicious esp paired with the Lentils was perfect.

Good food, great service, modern decor, festive but low key. Not your typical diner food at all.

Nice but a little bit too expensive... Waiters are partly acting strange, service can be improved. Breakfast is very tasty.

So happy to see the Princess Diner reopened. I personally love the bright and cheerful decor. The decor is aesthetically pleasing and would make for a great Instagram photo. I loved the uniforms, I think they’re unique and retro! The menu is smaller than your typical diner but featured lots of enticing seafood items. The cocktails are crafted extremely well, better than a cocktail you’d get at any other diner. Although the service was a tad slow (they were packed), the servers were very attentive and apologetic. When the food came out, it was great! I definitely will be coming back. It is a great stop to make on your way out for the weekend to the East End.

After a long drive, we stopped at the Silver Lining Diner for a break and a bite to eat. Are we ever glad we did! We ordered margaritas and an order of chips and guacamole. The margarita was delicious, hit the spot and I felt the vacation was starting. Guacamole was delicious and chips fresh and crisp, I highly recommend. I ordered the striped bass special. Beautifully prepared fish and it came with roasted potato wedges. We loved our server, Scott - he was super friendly. I like the look of the place, cheerful and fun. This place is our new family tradition!

The decor is really great. Not your typical diner. Lot's of thought went into this design. Not sure if we felt like we were in Back To The Future or Mel's diner. Was there for lunch. Food was excellent. Even with the huge 360 degree parking lot there wasn't a spot to be had. Had to park at Pier 1. There was a 20 minute wait for lunch. Lot's of curiosity seekers. They did not disappoint. They are only open for 2 days. So happy there is a new establishment to eat in. Prices are Hampton's friendly. $14 for an upscale chicken salad sandwich with hand cut homemade fries, side of slaw and sliced pickles. Go check this place out.

We visited on Labor Day weekend and had a great experience. Jerome our server was excellent as were the French toast, eggs and bacon we ordered. Food was fresh and delicious, especially the blueberries. We were told we would have a 15 minute wait, but we were texted in 4 minutes and seated in a nice large booth. The decor is light and airy and the bathrooms are spotless. We went back on Monday for lunch which was also great! So glad someone turned this place into a great option for casual dining in Southampton. Thank you!

Great design. Modern and retro at the same time. Not a regular diner menu but does have regular diner faire. Large portions and uniquely presented dishes. The only reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is that it is Southampton expensive. Wait staff was fantastic even though it was very busy. Definitely recommend.

The quality of the food here is AMAZING. The Greek salad, French fries, fluke, brisket, chicken wings, and frozen custard were the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant is also beautiful inside. As if all that weren’t enough, the owners are wonderful people. Hallelujah - an amazing year round restaurant in the hamptons!!!

Just had a lovely lunch at Silver Lining Diner! They just opened. The place is big and clean. Petra was our waitress. She knew the menu and told us what to eat. We had burgers and they were great. Everyone is smiling; They are open 7 am til 12:00 am. Later on weekends. Wishing them only the best!!!

So happy this place has been reopened!! What an asset! I swore the spot off 13 years ago when the food was so awful I was convinced it was deliberate. When I drove past and saw the place open, full of people yet still plenty of parking I raced to Springs to take care of business and got back ASAP....delish. So far I have left Springs to eat there 3 times...and currently plotting my next meal. Get the pastrami!! Get the wedge!! Have a burger!! The shrimp cocktail is amazing! And dessert — So glad the days of display case pie are over... So happy Silver Lining Diner has opened!
