The pizza and stromboli are some of the best I've ever had in my life. And I eat pizza frequently all across the U.S.
I think this type of pizza is referred to as "Trenton style". Or maybe this is a modified Trenton style. It has most of the sauce under the cheese like you have in traditional pizza. But then there's a portion of the sauce that is on top of the cheese.
Both the sauce and the cheese are very rich in great flavor, and this gives the pizza it's overall exceptional taste.
The crust is good, but not always consistent. Most of the time when I get pizza here the crust is nice and thin, as it should be. But once in a while one side of the crust will be significantly thicker, and this is not so great. But most of the time it is really thin throughout the entire pizza which is wonderful.
The place is really clean and meticulously kept up. But the dining area is rather small and when you're seated at a table it's impossible to feel any sense of privacy. And the building is down at a lower grade than the road it's on, so you don't have a very nice view out the windows. But there's nothing that ownership can do about those things. The things they do have control over, they do an exemplary job with.

The best pizza hands down. No other pizza like it. Mouth watering. A distinctive sauce that blends very well with the cheese that they use. Loved this place since the '70s.

I'm not really sure how, but Longhitanos has the best pizza. Best anywhere. It's crazy, lol... I've been eating there occasionally for over 20 years and their food is just the best. It's all good, but their pizza is truly amazing.
My friends and I all call it "crack pizza" because we feel like we're addicted and could just keep eating it forever. đ
Most pizza, even really good pizza, is kind of similar. But not this place... it's a whole different kind of thing.
So good.

The place inside is nothing special, but that doesn't matter it's usually those types of places you want to try, especially for some pizza! Absolutely hands down the best pizza I've ever had from the sauce, which is amazing to the crust that never flops. This place needs the one bite review!!! 10/10.

I live in North Carolina but am from the area. Growing up I had never eaten Longitano's pizza. How unfortunate for me because it is delicious. Since discovering it I now order pizza from here every time I am in town. There are lots of great pizza places in the area to choose from, but this place is now my go-to. :)

Always a highlite of my trip back home going here. Excellent pizza, cheesesteaks and Stromboli. The only problem is I always want yo order all three but I have to choose. Highly recommend this place.

Tues special takeout 2 pies. Added a salad and roll and butter. Delivered hot. Great old school taste. Remember the Ardsley location when I was in high-school.

Great, respectful staff. We came with a large group unexpectedly and they were quick to accommodate. Pies came out fast, and taste great. Recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite with a home style ambience.

Listen up, pizza enthusiasts! Allow me to share with you my thoughts on Longhitano's Pizza, a local establishment that has stood the test of time.
This pizzeria has been a fixture in the community for many years, and it's no wonder why. Their pizza is simply the best around. Perhaps it's their secret sauce that sets it apart from the rest. Whatever the case may be, this pizza is a true work of culinary art that will satisfy even the most discerning of taste buds.
But Longhitano's is not just a one-trick pony. Their cheesesteaks, hoagies, and pasta dishes are all equally delicious and worth trying. Even though the restaurant is on the small side, the ambiance is cozy and inviting.
And let's not forget about their delivery service. Even when delivered straight to my door, the pizza and other dishes arrived warm and well-packaged, maintaining their flavor and freshness.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Longhitano's Pizza to anyone seeking a truly divine culinary experience. This is a local gem that is definitely worth a visit

Had my first slice of "LONGHI'S" pie when I was 7. I have set the inner pie standard on their mark back in the early days of my life - around 1968. There are other good pies out there, but this pie informs all the layers of goodness that those pies aspire toward.
49 years later, back in town for business, my heart has come to rest - THIS IS STILL THE SAME PIE. The tomatoe sauce is perfect, not too sweet, not acidic, not tinny, not too salty. It tastes like fresh tomatoes that have been made into sauce in the back room - with a hint of oregano - not too much.
The cheese is not over powering - if you wanted that you'd order extra cheese. Creamy and carmelized by the ovens. And, the crust - oh the crust - the crust and crumb carry the same tawny color and crispy crunch, hints of semolina and corn in the after taste - a trick of the chef that knows how to use an oven to perfect dough. Don't come here and not order a pie - even if to have one slice with your meal. Take the pie home.
THE BEST PIZZA.

My favorite East Coast pizza! Eat-in for the best flavor in a very reasonably priced informal, low key little venue. Consistent flavor and quality since at least 1975. There is no other pizza I know of the shares the flavor. I can't speak to other items (yet) since I've only ever gotten their pizza. I don't live close so when I am nearby, I typically get lightly baked uncut pizza to reheat at home for the family. That's not quite like fresh but rewarm at high temp and watch it like a hawk, and you won't regret having some "to-go". Also, I haven't tried their toppings. For me they would just distract from the pizza's awesomeness.

This is a "Real deal" old school pizza shop. You know what it's gonna be like. You come in, the girl's gonna tell you to sit where you like, even though there's a sign that says "wait to be seated". Next she's gonna ask if you need menus. You tell her no because you know what you came there for. You know what they have because it's an old school shop. Pretty much what you want, they have. You also ask for glasses, because, duh, it's a BYOB! Then she brings you what you want, prepared exactly the way you want it, with just the right amount of tude. She checks back regularly and carries on with some entertaining banter. After you've thoroughly enjoyed your meal she drops the surprisingly affordable bill. You go pay at the register and tip her out, ALWAYS very satisfied with your experience. One of the last places around that hasn't converted to the cookie cutter gitshy production shops. Love it here. Here's a wintertime tip. Don't open the door till all in your party are ready to rush in and close the door behind you. You know. Unless you want everybody in there passed off at you for letting the cold in! LOL!

Pitiful white pizza !!!!!!!!!!1. Got a white pizza with bacon for the first time a little while ago because of the good reviews. It was great so I just ordered the same thing. What a disappointment !! It weighs about the same as a piece of cardboard and tastes like it too.. Over cooked and dried out, burned on top, and not much cheese. It's a WHITE pizza,....no sauce so put some dang cheese on it !!! It was over $14.00 and worth about $4.00 because I can get a Little Cesar's pizza for $5.00 that's better. I'm not going back !! Change my mind,....it's not worth going to pick up for free . I couldn't even eat a 2nd piece because it was too tough to chew !! Sorry I have to give it a 1 star !! AVOID !!

This place is the BEST! The greatest pizza in the area and the other items on the menu are equally as good. The parking could be better but the pizza makes up for that. A+++++
