Different cheesesteak #1099 in the last five years. This was a great day to be me!! I was tired, hungry and far from home. That is usually a recipe for disaster. But not on this day. 2nd Street Bagels has a 4.6 rating on google maps. I saw Philly Steak, egg and Cheese on the menu. This would have been a very good cheesesteak. The meat was tender. The onions added a ton of flavor. The bagel was a perfect sandwich bagel. It collapsed nicely and held the steak, egg, cheese and onions together. The young ladies at 2nd Street Bagel work great together. They filled a lot of orders pleasantly and professionally. Great stop on the adventure.
I've been eating at 2nd Street for years and I have always LOVED the place, and will continue to do so. All the food is fresh, hand made, and very tasty. And they have more than just bagels, including omelets and soups, and gluten free options. Just ask and they'll see what they can do if you want something special. I've come to know many of the staff as friends during my time stopping in for lunch, and I always feel at home when I visit. One of my favorite places to eat!
This is an awesome breakfast sandwich! Bacon egg and cheese between French Toast !! You don’t need any syrup it’s def sweet enough! This is one of their new sandwiches they added to the menu . I definitely recommend trying it!
The food is fresh and good.
The only thing I would like changed is I wish they would scramble their eggs more, usually half my egg is white not a fan.
Overall a good experience and bagels are great!
Some of the best pumpernickel I’ve ever had. Sesame is on point too. It’s not ritzy but they provide seating and Wi-Fi which is thoughtful and I can definitely see lingering because you’re going to eat the whole bag if you’re not careful. They also have various vegan sandwich options as well as standard fare.
Second time I've been here, and amazing each time. Both times I got a bagel with cream cheese and lox. This time I got an apple pastry and a coffee with my bagel. The coffee is pretty good, and self serve, which is nice in my opinion. The apple pastry was fantastic
My go to place before I go to Giant to pick up my groceries. Great bagels and friendly staff. My only complaint is that I can't call ahead sometimes (not all) as they either don't pick up the phone or it goes straight to voicemail.
The best bagels in town! Especially the gluten free bagels!
Amber is great she makes every trip to the shop a memorable one and she's a pretty good cook too 😉
Amazing lox sandwich on an everything bagel.
Came with pickle and chips.
Had perfect amount of cream cheese and plenty of lox.
They always go a great job, and everyone who has eaten them has said how they enjoy these bagels. The staff also works their butts off
TLDR: A beautiful small hometown bagel shop that does more than it needs to in a good way. Great service, slightly above average sandwich, good vibes.
Walked in on lunch hour, not super busy on a Wednesday. Beautiful, clean shop, classic stylings, certifications on display. I was comfortable to order here. Man was discussing something with coworkers, but interrupted himself to ask if I need some time. +1 for that, and told him yes. Asked him about a menu item, he was able to get the information to me easily. Ordered a chicken ham swiss on an everything bagel. Got my food and a bag of chips, which was nice and unexpected. The bagel was less than stellar, but the meat and cheese were awesome. Seasoned well but not too much. Overall, 3.5/5 stars, 4 for Google since it can't do half stars. The food would probably be better if I grew up here with the shop, which I'm sure the locals would agree.
By far the best bagels in Bucks County! High quality ingredients and the customer service always goes above and beyond my expectations. Shout out to Amber for always making us feel welcomed and turning it into a home cooked meal!
The bagels are great with a nice variety. We've been buying them since they opened. I now purchase online. The staff are pleasant. What I really enjoy is having my whitefish salad stays on my bagel and does not try to escape through a large hole.
