Being that it was my first time there, it wasn't too bad. They have a decent alcohol selection and some good beers on tap. We sat at the bar for drinks and dinner, so the bartenders waited on us and they did a fine job. I didn't have any steak, but those that did, mentioned it was pretty good and that I should order it the next time I return. The chicken wings were good, but be forewarned, even the mild wings are a bit spicy. I did get the personal size vegie pizza and it was big enough too take half of it home for leftovers. And that was an interesting pie. Great crust with roasted garlic, sliced tomatoes, squash and asparagus. I know right. It was tasty. The only draw back I had happened to notice and so did a couple of others in our group, was that the floors were a bit tacky and could use a good mopping.

I went for the first time with my son to surprise his sister, behind the bar.
Very friendly greeting at the door.. the food was very good. I love steak, and the bacon wrapped sirloin with asparagus , was mouth watering. The bartender/ server was very helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. I was all around extremely pleased. I would recommend it... at least once.. you'll go back!!

We sit at the bar which is huge and the bartender is attentive and pleasant. They now have music which is nice but much too loud for the dinner hour. It's difficult to talk or hear people talk. We don't mind the music but during early dinner hours should quiet it down. I had the salmon special just this week, it was delicious. Between my husband and I we've had steaks, burgers, seafood and salads and all were very good. I was hoping new decor once the new owners took over but nothing really is changed.

Visiting the area from MT and had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Cooked just the way I asked with plenty of toppings and hot upon arrival. Couldn’t of asked for a better night out while visiting friends. Met two of the owners as well and they were very genuine guys down to earth and definitely cared about everyone’s experience at the restaurant. Staff is all very friendly and attentive. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great work!! See you on my next visit!

A friend and I stopped here for the first time after we saw Opa Opa (terrible restaurant) went out. We were scared at first due to past experiences of bad food. We were pleasantly surprised. The bacon wrapped sirloin was cooked to perfection (requested medium rare) with a beautiful sear, and very tasty sauce. The potatoes, asparagus and onion rings it came with were also good. The pan seared chicken was a bit dry on the ends, not in the middle though and the flavor was there. It had a wonderful aroma and also a beautiful sear. The green beans were cooked the way I like them. I would rate 3.5 stars for the food, but I believe they are making an honest effort at putting out a great meal for the price. With so little good choices of restaurants in the area, this is a welcome spot. We will definitely return for more.

You won't even recognize the place, it's beautiful and cozy. Food was delish and service good. Irish coffee made to perfection. Owner was there and very welcoming. Ladies room could have used some attention. We would definitely recommend.

First time trying this restaurant, we went for lunch on a Sunday. Initial impressions were very good and our server, Daniel S., was great. There were 5 of us, and we got different chicken or steak entrees. All of us were happy with our meals, and I felt the prices were right where they should be. We will be going back!

We went there tonight after hearing about their new head chef and were not disappointed. Oysters Rockafeller is one of my favorites and they were amazing. Also had the wings which were juicy and flavorful. Our entries (scallops, lamb, and delmonico) were executed perfectly. Service was great, the menu is well rounded, and prices are reasonable. We will be back for sure..

First time visiting. The food was scrumptious. My husband filet mignon melted in your mouth and my Salmon plate was delicious. Great portions, reasonably priced. Def be back! The only disappointment was that outside seating wasn't an option as of yet. Hopefully next time!

Here I am again, but tonight I'm enjoying the broiled seafood combo with crumb stuffing. It has some rice pilaf as a side, and is full of lobstah scallops and shrimp. I'm branching out, because I'm addicted to the salmon, and NOW I'm addicted to the mussels appetizer, which I've already had. I'm too full to finish, but this will be a great lunch tomorrow. Gary is having the lamb chops, which are perfect.
We live around the corner, so we're here at LEAST once a week. Each dinner has been better than the last, and now, BOOZE is back.
Seriously come in and try this place. It's the best!

loved it ! Great Food with large portions at a good price. Children under 12 eat free. You can't beat that. The atmosphere is very nice as well. 5 stars.

Consistency is key.
We have been coming into JP's on a biweekly, if not weekly basis for the past 7 months. My husband and I both have a good bit of restaurant experience, both front and back of house. We comment to each other, almost every visit, how impressed we are with the consistency in both our food and service. The kitchen puts out properly cooked and seasoned food every time. Burger night is a great deal on Wednesday's with generous pre-designed burgers or build your own and some seriously perfect fries (or upcharge for the best onion rings you've ever had). Pasta dishes are generous and flavorful and the appetizer list is full of original twists on familiar classics. Small but solid draught list.
We have two small children and we always feel comfortable and taken care of when we dine here. At the same time, this spot would be a perfect date night venue too.
A must try! We look forward to the word spreading about JP's so other folks in the area can find their new go-to restaurant like our family has.

Since this is advertised as a steak house my husband and I were in the mood for steak so we thought we would give it a try. The servers were very nice and attentive. The issue we had was it isn’t really a steak house. They only had filet mignon and a delmonico (also steak tips). I ordered the filet which they were out of so I got the steak tips. They were good and nicely marinated. My husband got a pasta dish which was a little over sauced. The menu had lots of choices, just not steak.

Great atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful servers. Ordered dragon wings, chicken broccoli Alfredo, fried chicken Mac and cheese and it was all absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back for more

3 of us experienced delicious dinners this evening , 2/16/18 : braised short ribs (melt in your mouth!); chicken marsala( too much to finish) , scallops(fresh and delicious).
Our server was adorable and very pleasant .

My boyfriend and I ordered burgers. I didn't think that mine was very good and really didn't care for the fries. My boyfriend thought his burger and cole slaw was great. The best part of my meal was my side of grilled asperagus. Based on my meal alone, I would have given JP's 3 stars.

Promptly seated. Good service, wasn't rushed. Appetizer. Fried Rosato cheeseballs with a nice thick tomato sauce. Great.
Lobster bisque soup. Good. Steak pizza wonderful. Bacon wrapped strip with mushroom gravy and shreaded onion rings and mashed potatoes, Good. Steak was unevenly cooked.
