This was an ok experience. 10oz sirloin steak was slightly over cooked. Portions were more than enough. The calamari appetizer was very good and our favorite. We did a reservation online for a short table and was asked if we wanted a high table when we arrived the hostess looked at our reservation.
The restaurant is comfortable, the ambiance is lovely, the service is excellent! The food is wonderful, served exactly as ordered, flavorful, fresh, tasty. Be sure to enjoy the homemade butter and bread experience. It was extremely good!! This is a restaurant we will frequent!!
The brunch food was great. Could be the time of day but we were constantly being asked how we enjoyed our meal. Once every 5 minutes is one thing, once every minute is another. Will try again at another time of day.
Steak centered restaurant from BBQ queen Melissa Cookston is solid. Crab cakes were good with real lump crabmeat. House made hand churned butter for your jalapeño cornbread or pretzel roll. We both had filets and they were very good-one of very few that knows what "medium-rare means. Service was also good. I hear this is same owner as Memphis BBQ, not sure.
The sauteed mushrooms were the best I have had in my LIFE!!! Michael was my server, I sat at the bar. Even though he was busy he made sure O had everything I needed. The service was AWESOME! I also had the ribeye, ordered medium rare, came out cooked to perfection!!! The bacon mac n cheese was also
The restaurant is nice but huge. It was pretty empty when I went. Steak was OK but I have had better. It's nice they offer various breads and give a huge pat of butter to use with it. I love butter!!
