So, this Captain D's didn't have butter either. Is it that hard to get butter from suppliers? π Every grocery store I frequent has butter on the shelves. BUT anyways, the food was fantastic. I skipped the baked potato, and went for a double order of green beans, okra, and the catfish. It did not disappoint. The fish was hot, ND fresh. Not double battered..., lightly coated and seasoned well. The green beans were perfectly seasoned, not over salted. π And I also tried the funnel cake sticks. What a sweet, light treat to share with the family!! I gave the 4 stars only because of the lack of butter. Hopefully the next Captain D's is stop at while visiting down south will have butter.
So glad to be able to finally go in and sit and eat my meal while it is still hot and delicious. Now I went late in the day so I was served in a Togo container. Had to use packages of ketchup tarter sauce and cocktail.
Great food! It was very fresh and delicious! Drive through line was horrendous though. But in my opinion, it was worth the wait
