Sake - Southbury - Photo album

I have been going to Sake for many years. Every time my wife and I go, we are greeted by friendly staff and have an amazing meal. The food is different than usual Asian food, flavorful and plenty. We leave there saying that "we could eat this food every night". Never a disappointment! I never think
I ordered General Tso's chicken and a 2 spring rolls to go. The chicken was fresh and juicy, and the spring rolls as well as the unique dipping sauce they come with were exquisite. Highly recommend this fine restaurant if you want top quality asain cuisine. Very polite and friendly service as well.
I’ve been here firstly when I go from NY to Boston via New Haven. We wanted to get something Japanese and I just searched a “Japanese cuisine”. This place showed up and we took an exit literally cutting other curs (sport if you remember me). When we get inside I was shocked of design of this place.
Food is mediocre. Prices are very high. I could not believe how sub par everything was. Tempura was bland. Not much else to say
First time ordering sushi rolls for dinner from this local restaurant as we were visiting the area. The order was for take out and the order was ready as scheduled. When we opened the containers for the rolls I was surprised to see sauces on the top of the cut roll pieces. This may be the norm here
I recently had an in counter with the owner of this restaurant at another business in town. He was berating the manager for a mistake that she was actively working to fix. He was yelling and swearing and speaking to her in a way no one should be spoken to, even if there’s an issue. When I was walk
Great local Asian fusion restaurant. Staff is attentive, lots of fresh sushi choices, Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese style dishes. I like the tuna avocado rolls, miso soup, seaweed salad and have enjoyed a few of the curry dishes. A friend I go with has eaten lots of yellow tail & yellow fin tuna
Teriyaki chicken is so dry boring and bland. Sauce is very watery and flavor isn’t infused into the food. The spicy calamari is amazing! But the portion is insanely small. Literally 20 rings for $10+. Really wanted a good Asian fusion but this just isn’t doing it for me.
