Review Grateful Deli - Southold

I think this place would rock if it played up the Grateful Dead theme. The inside is rather plain. Outside of the name and that they sell Long Island themed Dead shirts, there isn't anything else playing up the Dead angle, which I think is a mistake.

Our favorite deli in town. And not just because it’s down the street. There are a few others nearby but this deli has it all and the owners go above and beyond to welcome you. They truly appreciate our business and let you know every time. We’ve been coming here for years for everything from breakfast sandwiches to picnic lunches to grab n go snacks for the boat. They never disappoint and are always smiling. Love this place!

We got 4 different sandwiches and all were delicious and the sizes were big! The staff were so sweet and friendly. It’s become our go to for picking up sandwiches for the beach.

They offer a great variety of hot or cold sandwiches and meals. They also have deli salads and pastries. This family owned and operated business is amazing. I go every chance I get. Try them, they may become one of your favorite places.

This is a real deli. Cold cuts, salads, pastries, sandwiches, wraps, etc. They open very early so I can get on my way and are very accommodating. They'll put whatever you want in a sandwich. In the morning I get a BLT with avocado, no mayo, salt or pepper. Extra bacon. They don't give me a blank stare like other stores or a negative comment. Their comment is that sounds good...and it is. Very positive attitude and very nice people. Love stopping there.

Slamming Sammich, Monte crisco is off the chain!

Stopped here for a sandwich right before we began our wine explorations. The breakfast sandwiches were perfect! They hit the spot and the space is so cozy. The desserts look amazing too and we couldn't help but grab a brownie on the way out. Good coffee and the owners are the nicest people ever.

I went there for lunch with my husband they were very helpful nice prices are great they made the very best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had we will definitely be back. Absolutely loved it.

Very good Deli, best deli in Long Island. They have a variety of choices, very fancy, and their sandwiches taste so good. This Deli is not even compared to any other Deli's. This Deli has a the best service, and for me I personally think it's top notch deli, and I've been to several Deli's in my lifetime. Their catering is beautiful. If you around this area I highly recommend you to give it a try!

Awesome staff. My husband and I shared a sandwich, got 2 bags of chips, 2 drinks, and 2 deli salads. It waa $17 which is great for the area. We loved the sandwich but didnt care for either salad. Nothing was wrong with them. They just werent our thing. The baby ate them up, though. The place was very clean and well stocked. Great job!

GREAT FOOD, Jonathan and Michelle (the owners) are fantastic people who cater to your every need. Laid back attitude is great to unwind, while still in the heart of everything. We highly recommend. You will be grateful for tge experience. 😆👍

The best wrap I ever had. Turkey wrap with sliced thin green apple. I ordered it 2 days in a row. Lovely and caring family. 💕
