My favorite place on the North Fork! Their food is to die for and they always have the most incredible cocktail menu. The view alone is exquisite, but add the culinary expertise of the kitchen and the amazing staff, and this place deserves ten stars!

The restaurant looks North Shore-ish, cool, airy, especially at the outdoor seating area. Umbrellas are big enough to provide plenty of shade. But it gets 5 stars, or more, for it's food. My husband had macadamia and coconut coated flounder which he said was outstanding. I had fish and chips. The chips were really skinny; the fish was mouth-watering. Yes, it was fried, but there was NO GREASE on the fish or dish. It was light and fluffy in its beer battered coating. The salads were fantastic. Unfortunately, the lunch serving was large enough that there was no room for dessert. I highly recommend A Lure Restaurant. And our server, Sherry (or 'i') was friendly and worth her tip.

I had a 2-pound lobster that was delicious drinks were great raw oysters. I certainly would go back again and I do not live in the area. It was a worth a trip from Florida.

First time I have been there. I loved the place and the outside seating. The waiter was nice and very tentative to us. Not one complaint about the food or drinks, my steak was perfect and my boyfriend loved the penne with shrimp. Recommend to anyone. Would love to come back soon to enjoy the atmosphere some more.

Every time we head out east, this is our go to for lunch. We were seated immediately and the staff was extremely friendly. The drinks were delicious and the food never disappoints. Crab cake, fish and chips and PEI mussels....yummy!

Yet another pleasant dining experience overlooking the bay. We lunched here on Sunday to celebrate Greek Easter. Fresh whole fluke, awesome mussels, fish+chips, fish tacos (you see a theme here?), and even chicken. We took advantage of the no corkage fee on Sunday and enjoyed a sauvignon blanc from nearby Old Field vineyard. No surprise that owner Adam is from the hood, Little Neck. Go Queens!

Simply the BEST place to go on the North Fork to get it all: great location. amazing food, beautiful seaside views, spacious outdoor or indoor seating, and stellar service. “Jeff the Chef” makes sure the quality from their kitchen is top-notch. Always. Very consistent. A Lure is great for anything from an intimate night out to a big celebratory birthday or event. They understand customer service and treat their guests well.

Good luck making a choice. I was torn between the flounder and cod. I went with the cod. Coconut Macadamia crusted cod with sweet potato puree, green beans, and a key lime sauce. Oh boy, was that the right choice. It was delicious and gave me 2 nights of small size leftovers. Mom and I split the crab cake appetizer. It was quite delightful. Buttery soft. Tasted like all crab. The service was quite slow. The waiter came to the table a few times and didn't take our order. There was a sign out front asking us to be patient, so we obliged. It was a bit pricy, but that's what you get for fine dining on the north fork. It's worth it for a fancy night out, wiith local options and flair. The view is spectacular. Being next to the water makes me so happy. It was a great choice bc my mom knows someone who knows the owner and we had to try it out at some point. Thank you.

The restraint is very nice, ocean front location the staff is pleasant. First time in my life I tries meatballs with shirt over Thai sauce. It was out of this world (shown in the picture) The desert is good, light. Pasta with clams wasn’t my favorite since pasta was very hard and claims were not tender. Overall it was a nice experience

A friend of ours invited us to A Lure Chowder House . He booked our table on their website and as a result didn’t get to have a choice of sitting outdoors or by a window. If that’s important to you, you must call the restaurant to make your reservation. While our friend was disappointed since he wanted his guests ( us) to have the perfect view, we loved our dinner as well as the service. And even sitting indoors, we still had a view and most importantly, everything we tasted was delicious!

Wonderfully fresh seafood prepared with exciting seasonings, expertly cooked. The restaurant itself is modern, spacious and chic with lovely views of the water and yachts. Servers and hostess were so friendly too. Another must visit in Southold!

One of the more memorable meals in Southold/Greenport area! The atmosphere (on the water) felt casual and comfortable. The food (coconut/macadamia nut crusted flounder) was delicious and the wait staff was great! Will definitely return.

Great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat! They have a beautiful water view and a great bar/ lounge area. The sunsets are gorgeous! You can't go wrong with the oysters on the half, blood orange margarita and especially the coconut macadamia flounder! Ice had nothing but great service as well. Also there's a great $2 heineken and Sierra Nevada side car special at the bar!!

The server was upbeat and very helpful. Our cocktails perfect. Seared tuna, ok. Flounder delish, Manhattan clam chowder top shelf. Everything was good, not exceptional. 4,5 stars.

Beautiful setting and flawless food. They catered a reception for a friend's wedding on their patio, and everything was delicious (but the ratatouille and coconut fried fish were clear winners).
