Went for an anniversary dinner. In the beginning of the week we used their online system… thank goodness I called to confirm because the women on the phone told me the system has issues and not all requests go through My suggestion would be to just call The restaurant is pretty old wood and a Stone . We were seated in a side room which was very narrow There was a large group on the one side ( about 2 tables away ) which made talking and hearing difficult.. since sound bounces. Nice to see Everyone having fun ..I am just noting the room was very loud Our server was sweet and charming. Christina was attentive but not obtrusive. My thoughts were she did an excellent job We dined on tuna tartare, beet salad, scallops , steak finishing with a molten cake . We ordered a nice bottle of stags leap Artemis … our first choice was not available. Overall nice place … fun and loud but we would probably be regulars if we lived closer :)

I was brought here for my bachelorette dinner party, food was amazing! The peach sangria was delicious, the service was prompt, my best friend didn't even notice when they refilled out glasses with water, that's how efficient they were. The only thing is I wish they would have ask about certain plates to be removed from the table. Other than that we were all very pleased with our meal selection

Food is the absolute best in New Jersey, and the ambiance alone makes this place 5 stars. Wait staff is always attentive and personable, food is top- notch, quality ingredients and impeccable presentation. Fire places lit in the winter with a cozy but classy cabin vibe, in the spring, summer, and fall there is a beautiful back patio, stone benches and fire pits in the back as well as a brick oven, I would pick Mohawk House over any other restaurant I’ve been to any day.

I went here to check it out for an event and decided to try the food. The burrata was AMAZING...so unique..not the traditional style with a balsamic reduction..you MUST try it. The Creme Brulee was the best I've ever had. I'm a chef and I've eaten at my places around the world and hands down it was the most decadent, creamy, light, flavorful I've ever had..it's addicting. The atmosphere feels like you're in a building hundreds of years old even though it was built not that long ago. Full of character and unique spaces. The overall experience from the impeccable service to the farm to table food to the unique atmosphere you can't go wrong here.

Love the atmosphere in the dining room. Staff friendly n attentive! The menu varied and expensive compared to other restaurants. If you want to celebrate a special occasion I will consider this restaurant. Check the menu before you go. Take care!
