How did I miss the new store in Spokane Valley? It’s bright, clean and has all the ingredients I need to explore a New Mexican cookbook I recently acquired. All types of cheeses, meats, spices. Just the fresh tortillas are worth the drive from Cda. I ordered chimichangas to go for lunch and they were delicious. Every staff member was welcoming, friendly and helped me choose the right chilies for my next project. Ingredients aren’t always named exactly the same and having someone take the time to find what I’m looking for is always appreciated. As usual, I came in for 4 items and left with about 15. The bakery items have been consistently good and taste as I remember in Mexican stores. Will be back often. Thanks for the great lunch too!
