I play music at this place, so I may be a little bit biased, but I love it. Cool patio a neighborhood feel. And music on select nights also....good music crowd!
Magically walked in on a half price hummus plate where the hummus was the star. I guiltily ordered the BLT and it was the best one I've ever had in my life. Got the other half to go. Can't wait to try this place again!
The best burger in town!! And so far everything else on the menu including the beer and liquor selection is equally great! We had about 30 in our group on a Sunday evening for a going away party. The staff was AWESOME!! great service, good humor, We have gone to other establishments and not been treated nearly this well.
Best burger and sweet potato fries around! The staff is friendly and attentive. Corn hole on the patio is a Sunday funday favorite!
We found this "five star dive bar" from a Google search for Spokane public house and decided to try it out -- we are so glad we did!! Delicious fresh food, great tap list, and fabulous drinks. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat close to our house when we moved and we found this little place! We absolutely love the food specially the grilled cheese and trivia night and bingo night became a weekly thing! Service is great we always had chuck! Best place to go! I recommend it to everyone I know
Went with a party of 10 for dinner and drinks. No reservations and only one bar tender when we first arrived. He did a great job and great food!
Had an amazing Cuban sandwich, some of the best whisky I’ve ever touched to my lips and super awesome service. Plus it was trivia night! We had a blast!
Went in to Backyard to try out Restaurant Week. It was packed! We had to wait a while for our original order but the menu options were amazing for the price! Specifically the pretzels and burger!! Or server Chuck explained and apologized for the wait and gave great service! We'll be back to try out the full menu!
I had the most delicious damn burger here the other night and they happily plated it for 2 so I could split it with my wife. Super service, drinks. Great fries.
You know, years ago this place was a two-star dive bar. It is now a five-star, friendly neighborhood hangout I am proud to live near.
Needed a late evening / night place on a recent visit to Spokane. Drove from Spokane Valley and were not disappointed.
Had a cocktail and beer along with a burger on a GF bun with sweet potato fries and a Cuban sandwich with macaroni salad.
Cocktail, burger, fries and Cuban were all tasty, but the macaroni salad was really bland, a little salt would go a long way.
Our server was nice and attentive without being a pest. Wasn't too crowded despite it being Saturday night.
Seems like it might be near a college and a busy drinking establishment. Music was VERY loud.
We would visit again.
Awesome food, great drinks. We brought a group of 15 and they accommodated us well (made a reservation ahead of time) Bartenders were all awesome with a good vibe, drinks never went empty and the food came out steaming. I will definitely be back.
Fun!!! Zac made it fun for us. Backyard needs to fix its Google hrs though. It shows Fri/Sat as being open for only an hr.
Great and attentive bartenders. Spacious open atmosphere seating for social distancing. $16 Wings had a nice crispiness to them and the BBQ flavor was done right. "Shareable" Chips with Homemade Salsa was a treat and a bargain during Happy Hour for under $4. The Backyard Burger was tasty but for me it needed a smaller bun. IMHO too much bread ruins a great burger. Had the Soup of The Moment as a side and it was a delicious Thai Chicken Chili. Other menu items were very tempting as the descriptions had some very culinary cool combinations.
Warm atmosphere, great drinks and food. From the staff to the patrons good vibes radiate inside and outside. Absolutely worth checking out more than once!
