Had lunch here, looks like a back in time place. Nice and clean which I appreciate very much. The staff so friendly and help us bring our meals to the table. The meat was a little dried but overall was good. I’ll say the ribs were my favorite. My sister order the chicken and that one was too dried. Also order the brisket plate with green bean and slaw. My dad liked the brisket plate as well with the corn bread.

The good things - service was great, mustard potato salad was good, the bread product they give you was delicious. Now the bad thing - I ordered a brisket meal. The aforementioned extras were as I said. Only about half the brisket was edible as there was a lot of fat in what I ordered. I hopefully will be able to include a picture. The brisket it's self was pretty good. My wife is from Oklahoma and recently we spent 6 months in St. Louis working. If you ever eat barbecue from those areas, you will realize that barbecue in the west will never measure up. We have tried a multitude of places here in Washington and Oregon. I don't hold this establishment at fault for that. It is what it is out here in the west. I felt a 4 rating was a little lenient as only one thing was wrong, albeit the main thing we went there to eat. I felt they deserved better than a 3 though. I would suggest when they prepare a diner's food to watch how much fat is in the serving. A little fat is fine, but not half the meat.

Most unfriendly Dickeys employee I have ever met. Obviously he didn't want to be there.
And, to top it off, my pound of pulled pork came in chunks, as did my pound of sliced brisket. Chunks. Pound of chicken breast...chunks.

Ok i had a 5star now oh no. Sat in drive through 20 min. After being told once "one min ill be rite with you" then ordered the simplest thing. A fretos pie with pulled pork and sweet BBQ. And what is given. I have no idea. Meat. Fretos. Bacon. Green onions. Sprinkle of cheese. And thats it. What the.... its just fretos beans cheese and meat..... told "we are really busy inside" no ones inside. Ill post pictures. TRAIN YOUR STAFF OR QUIT AS MANAGER!

Usually pretty good but the brisket is god awful. it taste like a overcooked steak. It doesnt seem worth the price and I wouldnt reccomend.

This the yummiest best BBQ place ever ! The smell when you walk in makes me so happy being pregnant this place is my dream and nice staff and the cleanest restroom I’ve seen in a long time !

Let me start by saying the FOOD is beyond amazing. I come here about every 3-4 months when I make it anywhere close to Spokane. The prices are decent, and you really can't find better food! We load up every time we go just to make sure we have some for the next day! The only thing I will say, the staff is subpar when it comes to friendliness or service. This has been the case the last year or so. No "Hello, Welcome, How are you? , etc." They barely acknowledge customers until they are ready to help them. The male cashier had no table side manners whatsoever and seemed to be irritated he had to cash us out. Over half the tables were dirty and needed to be wiped down, the ice-cream cone stand had chunks of cone all over the counter and floor. It just all needed a good wipedown/sweep. If they had been really busy, I could understand, but there were only 2 other families in there. Maybe we arrived right after their lunch rush? Either way, if you want GREAT food, this is absolutely the place to go. Just maybe get it to go?

Food was fine but nothing else was. No ice in the machine and when my wife asked the lady behind the counter she was pretty snappy, soda machine wasn’t ready and we had to wait 5 min after we got our food to get something to drink, ice cream was just liquid, and the place was so hot inside. Definitely don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

Ok this goes out to anyone and everyone in facebook land my lady and I want to go out and have a date night tonight and I heard that the was a new barbecue pit that was open that smokes all there meat in house and make most of there food in house I was glad to hear someone was in town to give longhorn bbq a run for there money well sorry to longhorn bbq for thinking that someone could smokes meats and homemade side better then y'all and this is what happen when we went to DICKEYS BARBECUE PIT one when we ordered the our food the guy behind the counter was dumber the a bag of hammer and had the personality of a rock and then I order a three meat platter and I got brisket and pork rib and pulled pork the guy grabs the brisket and and cut out the burn ends and the top layer of smoked meat and fat and threw it in the trash and the shaved about 2oz of inter meat and placed it on my plate I started getting piss cuz he just took some of the best parts and put them in the trash then he open up and small convection oven and pulled out the pork rib what the hell I say to my lady and then this guy takes out a half rack of rib and I was starting to feel better then this guy cuts two ribs out and puts them on my plate and then he grabs the pulled pork that was just sitting on the counter not under a great lamp just sitting there cold and fuck and he puts about 2oz on my plate and Brittany gets a pulled pork sandwich and then puts about 3oz of meat on it the bun then we get a large drink and a small drink and we go to pay and it cost 30.00 fucking buck so the moral of the story is If you have cash that to want to waste and want crappie service and even more crappie food go to DICKEYS BARBECUE PIT worst bbq pit smoked meat I have ever eaten in my life I would never and will never go back or tell a friend or family to go there longhorn bbq is so much better then that place and them give you real smoked meat and homemade side made in house

Visited this restaurant on Sunday about 2 weeks ago and brought our friends and their kids who were playing in a baseball tournament out of town. To our suprise at 1pm on a Sunday, we were informed they were out of chicken, sausage, and turkey! On top of that the brisket and rolls that we were able to order were dry and flavorless. Now I could maybe understand that you might get low on some portions later in the evening considering that Sunday's are promoted as kids eat eat free, but to not have almost a third of your menu available at lunch time seems extremely cheap and unprofessional!
If you are going to have a limited menu on Sunday's, I suggest you let the public know. What's even more frustrating is that I sent the manager and corporate office an email detailing our experience and have yet to hear a response. My family has gone to Dickey's many times over the years for catered and family meals. After this horrible service, we will take our buisness elsewhere!

I was extremely excited to try this place out. I've heard their food was good and I finally was able to come tonight. When we came in we were the first in line. It took 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable as this was our very first time at dickeys. I was super bummed that they were out of pulled pork, I get that sometimes that happens but it seems to be pretty common among other reviews. Anyways, we finally were able to order our food. We got it and I wanted to go get a straw for my drink. The container holding the straws had pepper and salt all over them, and there were absolutely no napkins. As someone who has worked in customer service, it was one of the most unwelcoming and somewhat dirty places I've ever been to. Not one single employee smiled throughout my entire time there. However I can say that there was a customer behind me who seemed to be a regular, he seemed to really like this place. So I will go back again and try it one more time. If it's better, I'll be glad to change my review, but tonight was not my favorite experience. :/

Extremely bummed. We went to the valley location, which I cannot find on Facebook.. the menu said our sandwich comes with onion and pickle, which it didnt. There's no way the sandwich is worth the price we paid.. we got no napkins even though we are about to eat a BBQ sandwich and to top it off, the person who packaged our BBQ sauce didn't put the lid on all the way so our entire bag of food was covered in BBQ sauce... did I mention there was no napkins?

Excellent food! The bbq brisket and turkey was awesome! Customer services was on point! We came in late and Brian the shift manager was such a nice guy and took care of our every need! He was over the top in kindness. Donna, one of the employees was a joy to talk to and very friendly. We will be back and would recommend this place to all!

I can't give you my opinion on the food because we never got to eat. We stood at the counter waiting to order from one of the 5 employees there. Unfortunately, not one of them EVER acknowledged our existence. There were about 10 people in the restaurant and there was one car in the drive thru. I would think the 5 of them could handle that "crazy" crowd, but I guess not. I don't think a restaurant in Spokane can afford to turn away customers because there are so many other options. We certainly won't be back!

We were loyal customers until today was the final straw. For the last 3-4 months this place has gone to hell. They are always out of meat, the drive thru was down for months, and then finally get the drive thru going and we waited at the drive thru for 25+ minutes for you guys to forget our sides. We called and you offered us voucher tickets so tonight we thought we'd come for dinner and give you one last shot. Its pretty pathetic when you have written on the front of your door "we have a whole new crew please be patient" come to find out that means you have a bunch of incompetent people working. Pretty sure at any other food establishment they would let those people go. Not to mention the fact that we noticed two employees either cleaning and preparing our food in a very uncleanly and unsanitary manner. You will no longer have our service and we will no longer be loyal patrons. You also lost out on a thousand dollar deal we were in the works on completing for catering our wedding. To the people reading this that thought about trying them out, I would recommend going elsewhere for your BBQ craving.

Tonight we brought our family in to try Dickeys for my moms birthday because she loves bbq. We had never been there so we didn't know the menu or how to order. The woman who was taking our order was very short and rude and couldn't be bothered to explain the menu choices to us. After it became obvious that she was going to continue being short and rude we decided to leave and go to Tomato Street instead and then we had a great dinner! Thanks anyway Dickeys!!

Went to the valley location tonight. Not only was the food delicious, the guy in the drive thru window saw my 2 dogs and gave me a little pulled pork, no sauce, to mix with their dinner! Great food and customer service!!

40 flies dive bombing you and your food. 3 of the tables we tried to sit at were dirty and needed washed off. It was 1155 and only 2 other couples at tables.

My family and I visited the Sprague location..Food was really good, but uncomfortable to eat in the dining room due to the sun coming through the windows,which made it hot in there. All in all, great food. Hopefully they'll get some shades for the windows. Summers coming.

Had a very nice lunch today. Brisket, sausage, sides and sauce were all good. My wife had the pulled pork taco and liked it. Staff was friendly. I would come back.

I never thought I would give a restaurant that shorted us food a great review, but I am because the food is just THAT good!!! MY whole family LOVED it. We ordered (4) 3 meat plates that should come with a roll and pickles and onions but those were missing. We didn't complain, we just ate the super yummy bbq!!!

Food is good if they have it. Again get there and hardly anything to order then don't get what I ordered then get promised by manager he would make it right just to go again and he says oh I wouldn't do that really!!
