I ordered on door dash for this meal. With a $5 tip cost me $33. This amount of food is astonishingly small for that price. The BBQ pork you see is one of the three foods I selected for this Pick Three Combo Dinner. I at least expected them to put more in the container. Multiple other places for that price will give much more food. It is tasty yes I will give them that. But honestly a waste of money. unless you want to buy over priced food, I'd recommend going somewhere else. Never have I been this disappointed by an Asian cuisine restaurant before.

I went to Chinese Gardens and had a nice lunch.
Very clean and my waitress gets 5⭐️
My egg flower soup was just like warm and there was too much gravy on my almond chicken and egg foo young. I will ask for less next time.

I took my beautiful Mother in to have a nice lunch. The food was very very good, but the poor waitress was literally all alone up in the (WHOLE) dinning room!! She was acting as (the hostess, the waitress, the bussboy, & the manager!!! The only other employees where the chefs???? Other than that mixup, everything was great, (I would highly recommend the veggie fried rice, & we had there (egg fu young) 😋😋😋😲😲😲 it was SOOOOOO good 👍😊!! I would tell my worst enemy to go eat here, thats how amazing it is!! Thank you CHINESE GARDENS, I will be sharing this experience with all my friends & family, & encouraging them all to go try it out!! (Oh I forgot, the food comes out (SUPER FAST!!) which I love, I don't like sitting with my people & waiting for 45mins for our food. I understand that there are places that have a whole thing, where they literally want to make you wait, then they put on "like me a mini show of sorts" just to give you (1appatiser) then they bring about 4/8 dishes all at different times, & that's all to d n fun, but for a different time n place!! Go check out the CHINESE GARDENS, (GREAT FOOD, SUPER FAST SERVICE!! WIN 👍 WIN!!!)

“Missed it by that much.” This restaurant is practically a Spokane landmark and has been here for decades, so clearly, people like to eat here. The food isn’t bad, but it’s not great and that’s a shame because it could be. The food is bland. Maybe this is a simply a result of the typically bland Spokane palate and this restaurant seasons their food according to what “most” customers like? The other issue is that although my food arrived fairly quickly after I ordered, it was not hot. It was lukewarm. That’s a real problem. Chinese food should arrive at your table piping-hot. Not sure if they keep the lunch menu items under a heat lamp for fast service or what - but it was a disappointment. There was only one other party inside at peak lunch time. The restaurant is clean and service was attentive and friendly and prices were very reasonable. Again, the food was OK, but certainly not great. This place has potential but they will most definitely have to up their game.

Generals chicken was good but extra saucy. Left me wanting more rice. The egg flower soup had great flavor but could have gone without adding the generic frozen veggies. The iced tea was super dark and almost had a hint of black licorice. No amount of sugar was gonna save it. They do have a full service lounge so if your not into water and soda that's an option. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't the greatest. I won't be going out of my way to eat here that's for sure!

This place is a gem💎! Very impressed with their food and friendly, speedy service. Vegetables tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly. And omg the crab wontons were decadent on the inside and light and crispy outside🦀. The sweet and sour sauce was a bit thick, but the flavor was quality⭐. Massive amount of food too! Definitely shareable portion sizes. With the rice I was able to get 4 meals out of just my veggie stir-fry. The only issue we had was the styrofoam containers leaked sauce everywhere and through the plastic bag, transport with care. Will definitely order again though. Please open a location to the west side of the Cascades🙏💚!

Spokane doesn't have many choices for "Chinese (almost)" cuisine that is above mediocre. This restaurant and their place downtown at 3rd and Cedar are the better choices. They are particularly capable of preparing Almond Chicken and Barbecue Pork without turning it into jerky.

Ordered delivery for the first time through Grubb. Got a notification that it would be delayed by roughly 30 minutes. That's fine, I appreciate the updates..
However, the smell is like a dirty grill and it tastes like it too. It's charred black all inside and the Styrofoam containers are crushed up (driver error) so liquid ran all through the bag and spilled out everywhere.
The egg rolls were delicious though.
