Went to breakfast at Rusty's Diner. The outside and inside was not much to look at. It definitely looked a little run down. But don't let that turn you away. The service was outstanding. We were immediately greeted and seated. Everyone was very friendly. Even though I am from out of town, the staff made it feel as if I've been coming there my whole life. I ordered the corn beef hash breakfast plate. It was delicious! The corned beef was homemade and not from a can. The hash brown were crispy yet tender. Honestly probably one of the best breakfast meal/experience I've had at a diner.

This place is fantastic, I had the chicken and waffle and it was the best I've ever had, and iv been through the south a few times. My only gripe was it wasn't seasoned, but other than that it gets a 9 out of 10 hands down. The place was clean, the server was very nice, helpful and attentive. Overall this is my new go-to brunch spot.

If ya want to go somewhere for a home cooked meal this is the place, food proportion is BIG, price is worth it. I got the Hungry man meal and had left overs. Bathroom was dirty. Rest of the place looked good. Rusty is a hoot. Everyone there is talkative and kind.

Short staffed and it was sad to see the servers so stressed. The food was OK, but nothing special. I think the building needs updated... bathroom included. I did enjoy my food but probably wouldn't go back. I got the French toast brunch sandwich and the breakfast fries.

It was my first experience at this diner and I have to say that they have a return customer for as long as they are in business, the service was quick and pleasant and very very professional but I also felt at home there, you get so much food for very little money, their water is triple quadruple filtered their coffee is excellent I can't say enough good about this place because there are no words it is such a very very good place to go I recommend it to anybody that would like to go to a diner.

My husband and I went here for breakfast/lunch. They have homemade hash browns. Not frozen. Their fish and chips were perfectly cooked. Their chicken fried steak is also homemade with homemade gravy. Our expectations were high and they did not disappoint. They are a family run greasy spoon diner. Uncle Rusty is there in the kitchen so you get a face to the name. The waitress was very welcoming with a fun personality. Come check this place out! Wonderful food, price is great, great customer service. We will be back.

Rusty's Diner is a great local place for breakfast and other meals as well. We found it one Saturday morning by accident. We tried to go to the railroad car restaurants nearby. But we didn't like the crowded atmosphere and Captain feeling. Rusty's was only a few steps away. It is run by an Italian family and the whole family is working. Mom runs the counter, two brothers do the work in the kitchen, and the daughter handles the tables. The whole crew was very personable. I ordered a Hungry Man breakfast. Huge and a pretty good value. Their pancakes are very good and for a dollar more you can upgrade to a specialty here called sweet cream pancakes. Very interesting. I love breakfast sausage and these are some of the best I've had. We will be back.

We had the best time visiting friends here. The staff and other patrons were so good about our loud laughter. Our waiter was increadible and was full of the jokes. The food was delicious. Thank you! We definitely will be back the next trip to town. They serve beer and mimosas!
