Sometimes, you stumble upon a bakery with high hopes, only to find its a Fakery and doesn't live up to expectations. Rao's, on the other hand, is the real deal! Everything we've tried be bussin. We've tried their Gelato to sherbet, breakfast wraps, and a few different desserts, all of which were hitting. The only thing that was mid in my opinion was the strawberry muffin and this lemon bar thing. My advice would be to sample like 2-3 items at a time for the freshest experience, too much might lead to leftovers which aren't as good the next day. Then the next visits try a couple of more new things. I can't speak for the coffee, but everything else is fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and while the staff's enthusiasm varies, they're all polite, making it a great overall experience. I recommend the bread pudding, the petit four, and the sherbet 😁
Chicken salad croissant with potato soup an Amazing combo! Croissant are warm and made to perfection. A piece of heaven in every bite. On this occasion I also had the carrot cake, slices are huge and more than enough to share. Coffee is always freshly brewed and perfect to pair with your meal or dessert!
Picked up a birthday cake for my daughter. Wound up ordering chicken salad panini and broccoli cheese soup to go. While waiting, I noticed some cookies in the back, and bought some of those too! Sandwich and soup was delicious! Waiting to try the cookies and cake...
I tried the tiramisu and it was really good! The person helping me was great. The other items on display looked delicious as well. I’m coming back to this bakery! :)
First time, the vanilla latte was very good as the bread pudding. The ice cream cookies and cream was good to and I recommend the ham and cheese croissant. The food is good. I will go back to try others desserts and coffee. Staff friendly and polite, slow service but friendly. And they have some chairs outside.
Ate here for the first time! The atmosphere was great. I came in right around 6 AM and essentially had the place to myself. The coffee is self-service and I could get refills if I wanted. They had mini options of their croissants and scones, which is what I ordered. I loved both! The taste wasn't anything that like, blew my mind LOL, but I just really liked the fact I could snack on their mini items. They're so cute.
I originally wanted the mini cinnamon roll but they didn't have any when I visited.
Next time when I come back, I'll order some full-size options~
I was looking for a Pecan Pie and Googled "Pecan Pie Near Me" and Rao's Bakery showed up. I really did not want a mass-produced pecan pie from a grocery store or Sam's Club or Costco because they have lot of additives added in their pies that just aren't good for you. I went to Rao's and they had so many delicious bakery items on display. A really nice presentation of all of their desserts. The pecan pie was outstanding... the best ever. You could taste that it was made with such good quality ingredients. This will be my Go-To bakery shop in the future. And when I see that they have FOX News on, it gives me one more reason to do business with Rao's.
I always order my personalized cakes from here! 🥰 Not ONLY are they very appeasing to the eyes but they TASTE DELICIOUS also!! I'm not from the area but I definitely make that drive! I even pick up a few other items as well: coffee, pastries, or ice cream! ONE STOP SHOP! 🥰💞
This is such a wonderful place to bring friends and family. I love and enjoy the comforting food, rich coffee, and sweet service. Tina is such a sweet, friendly server. She always makes us feel welcome and takes care of us till the end. I’ll always be a returning customer.
Thanks to the owners for always keeping the ambiance fresh and enlightening the decor per season and festivity.
Came here around 8 on a Saturday. The place wasn't busy at all. We ordered bread pudding, cheesecake and caramel frapp. Everything was delicious. I recommend the place
Came here for dessert after eating a couple restaurants down. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff was really nice but seemed a little disorganized when we were trying to get our desserts. The key lime pie was phenomenal, very tart and not too sweet. Their pineapple Gelato taste just like taking a bite into a fresh pineapple. Overall we would love to go back to try their lunch menu and more sweet treats!
The broccoli cheese soup was served in a coffee mug. It was hot and tasty. The bread served with it was cold. The pumpkin pie latte was expensive but tasty. I left a tip, thinking I would be served, but they just called my order and left it on the counter.
I’ve been wanting to check out the bakery for years and I finally made it there.
The desserts are beautiful. I was told that the cream puff/napoleon is filled with bavarian cream but it tasted much different than I’ve ever had. Not in a bad way but different.
Also tried the spicy giacomo sandwich and it was delicious!
It is so amazing I have gone here so many times and it never dissapoints I love it and the food is delicious!!
I recently ordered an Italian Cream cake for my daughter's 30th. birthday. I was very pleased with placing my order. I was elated that it was decorated the way that I requested. The cake itself was also very moist and delectable. Thank you for making me and my daughter's day.
