I was told they sell the best Chicken and Waffles in Spring, TX. Let me go try it for myself. Okay, the Chicken and Waffles are legit. Best around???? Maybe….. I have to be fair, I tried the regular breakfast as well. It was average at best. It wasn’t worth the nearly $20 I paid for it. The Chicken and Waffles was worth every dollar. The regular breakfast was no better than the $6 Value Slam from Dennys. It was $14.50 for the plate plus $4.50 for the extra sausage. The staff was friendly and very personable. It’s a small operation so expect a little wait time to get your food. I’d come back but I’d just get the Chicken and Waffles next time.

I enjoyed Saturday brunch during a rush they were experiencing. There was only one server on the clock and she was doing her best. The food portions were enough to feed two at once and tasted great! I put their house made blueberry jam on the English muffin and turned it into breakfast sandwich. Chef kiss! My order, Blueberry pancakes, three eggs, grits, bacon, and added a side of Blu Jam Sausage.

If you want to be late for work, eat breakfast here. Service is fast, you just won't want to leave. Had the brisket on biscuit with poached eggs and hash browns. So good it gave me chills.

The food was great and they serve a huge amount for the price--we ended up going home with boxes. They also brought us some extras from the kitchen while we waited (the muffins pictured here) and the servers were super nice. We had their chocolate chip muffins, brisket omelet, and the triple jam and would recommend them all.

It was father's day and I wanted to treat my love to some brunch. We love shrimp and grits and I saw this place had some. On arrival you can tell they were busy which means to me the food is good. We wanted to sit in and dine but it was packed and it was oh so sweaty and hot in there. Not expected. So we ordered to go and the nice man who I'ma assume made our food brought it outside to our car. When I tell you southern style shrimp and grits. Just beautiful. He put his foot off in it lol

The food was great! I ordered chicken and waffles, and they are definitely the best. The small pieces of bacon and jalapeño make that flavor unique. We stopped coming here for a while after the service and food going downhill the last couple of times we were here, but now definitely the old flavor and service are there again.

Food was excellent. I had the fried shrimp po-boy and granddaughter has biscuits and gravy. Only problem was it took 25 minutes from the time we placed the order until it was delivered. This is why i rated it 4 stars instead of 5. I will go back because the food was very good and hope the time between ordering and receiving is reduced.

Loved the food here! Came for my little sister’s birthday and everyone really enjoyed their order. We passed plates and shared since we all wanted a little bit of everything lol. Definitely recommend.

I guess it was a southern breakfast but actually a French toast which was good. They use sourdough bread so it will not be what classically an American breakfast is. However it was very good like it was sourdough homemade. The eggs were not normally looking or exactly tasting like chicken egg but still good. They do vegetarian and keto so still it is a must try. I also had a steak breakfast. The steak and bacon meat portion was good just right and delicious. I would eat there again. I got a sense of atmosphere from the delivery. It was first time ordering for special occasion.

Kings Blu Jam Cafe- 5-13-2022 (Friday) Today I made the short drive from home to eat breakfast at Kings Blu Jam Café located at 4711 Louetta Road in Spring, Texas. Now this place is dedicated to local food sources at the highest quality available. Their produce is sourced locally from Atkinson Farms in Spring, the fresh seafood is from Woodlands Seafood and the Blu Jam Sausage is from Fishers Meat Market. Even the coffee is locally sourced. Kings Blu Jam Cafe explains that they are a Southern-style Breakfast,Brunch and Lunch Cafe with a Cajun flare, using recipes passed down from generation to generation! Serving dishes such as Shrimp & Grits, Chicken & Waffles, & Cajun Jambalaya Pasta! We even offer an extensive Keto friendly menu... Outdoor seating is offered with a covered patio, and a BYOB invite. They have been open a while, but I had never stopped in to eat. The previously post reviews have been very positive, with a few sporadic complaints. The restaurant is very relaxing and the waiter, Mike, was very nice, and paid attention to all his tables. It was a late breakfast on Friday the 13th, 2022. The restaurant was not busy at all. They have a large menu offering breakfast selections from fruit cups, oatmeal, bran cereal with fruit toppings, avocado toast with toppings, breakfast sandwiches, Chicken N Waffles, Loaded hash browns, custom omelettes, waffles, French toast, pancakes, six different styles of Eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, traditional combo breakfast plates including Corned Beef Hash with Poached eggs and a large KETO menu. I ordered the Southern Breakfast consisting of two eggs, grits, Kings Blu Jam special sausage and a biscuit. Coffee is good and served in a large coffee cup. After finishing my first cup of coffee, I was still waiting for my food. Mike, on cue, came by and refilled my coffee. I looked around and could easily tell that only three orders were in from the lobby. Now who knows how many orders from Ubereats, Doordash, etc. were in the kitchen. It took a full seventeen minutes to get my breakfast. Now this is a sit down restaurant, but even Cracker Barrel or Broken Yolk Cafe are quicker than this. Again, what was happening in the kitchen, I have no idea. Once my food was served I buttered the LARGE biscuit, but it was not warm enough to melt the butter. The grits (a very large cup filled over the edges) were just warm enough to barely melt two pads of butter. The two fried eggs were overcooked on the edges so that the far outside was tough to cut and chewy. The Blu Jam sausage flavor was GREAT, but the sausage was tough. The biscuits were very good and could almost be a dessert on their own. Served with the Kings Blu Jam homemade strawberry jam, the biscuits were the hit of breakfast. Grits were good for the parts that had some melted butter on them. This is mixed review for me. The sausage flavor was wonderful, the biscuits were worth a return trip on their own. I going to give the kitchen a break on being slow, not knowing what orders might be backing up. This is just not my cup of tea, spending $18 before tip for a below average meal. I did tip Mike well for his great service. They also have a nice lunch menu. I will give Kings Blu Jam Cafe another visit in the next month and update my review.

Good experience - great service, cozy atmosphere, food was good, brisket was very fatty though and biscuits didn’t taste very fresh

First time eating Chicken and Waffles, and it was delicious! The waffle has jalapeños in it, the chicken was well cooked and the hot sauce was the perfect topping. The Vanilla Amaretto French toast was good, you have to try their Blue Jam pork with it, service was great. We will be back soon.

Met the girls here for a breakfast planning meeting. The atmosphere was great but a bit noisy if you had serious conversations going. We didn't realize from the breakfast menu that there were lots of drink choices but we should have asked. The food was amazing. 3 of us had chicken and waffles and 1 had a chicken waffle sandwich with cheese Grits. Everything was fantastic. We ordered the 4 Kings Bacon as an appetizer and frankly I don't understand why this isn't a thing and every restaurant. It was so delicious. I will definitely be back just to enjoy eating and not planning anything.

Everyone enjoyed their food. Some things ordered...Biscuits and gravy (only a few pieces of sausage in it, though), pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, hamburger, club sandwich and you have to try the blackberry lemonade!! Locally sourced and fresh made. Breakfast potatoes were hard, and fries were very skimpy portions.
