The sushi here is top notch! Very fresh and the chefs really take their time to ensure the presentation is perfect. The staff is quick, friendly, helpful, and caring. The place is clean, aesthetic, and the ambience is very welcoming. You need to give this place a try!

Sooooo delicious! Highly recommend! I’m a sushi lover, so I know what I’m talking about. Salmon nigiri were very generous, huge pieces of salmon as I like ☺️ and tasty fish. I also tried Capital roll - worth every penny! It contains tuna, salmon, yellowtail, super white tuna and wrapped by white seaweed with eel and avocado on top. Yummy!!!

Sushi was good but not my favorite sushi restaurant. I don't really eat sushi (raw) items. The folks I was with said it was ok. I had the Takoyaki balls and they were delicious. Grilled hibachi shrimp was delicious. We also had the stuffed jalapeno peppers. They were good. I would need to try some other items. Overall food was good, people were friendly and restaurant is clean. For dessert we had mochi ice cream and fried cheesecake. Very delicious.

Simple; nice atmosphere, good service and reasonably priced. Our waitress was lovely and even made an effort to suggest alternative roll options for my friend who doesn’t eat imitation crab. Spicy yellowtail and shrimp tempura were good. The soft shell crab appetizer I ordered was soooo delicious! I ended up asking for a bowl of rice on the side to eat it like a whole meal. Will definitely be back to try the other specialty rolls.

Appetizer: spicy yellowtail crunch roll Roll was fresh yellowtail mixed with crunchy pieces. I was surprised to find that the crunch really came out in the roll, and balanced well with the fish. Dinner: Tonkotsu Ramen This was a milder base than my usual. But all the ingredients were well balanced and didn’t overpower each other. The broth was well seasoned but not salty, and allowed the pork and the onions to present themselves. Egg used is not a miso egg (my preference), but was cooked perfectly. Overall dish was delicious.

Dine in sushi dinner for one. My favorite is Sakura, if I were a sushi roll she’d be me. Stuffed with lobster salad, yellowtail and jalapeño and topped with a fresh scallop. She comes with her own yuzu sauce. I also got the Lobster Mango which is really good. But Sakura has my heart. The green tea is the bomb too.

Great sushi and miso. First time having chicken sushi and I was impressed. I also got the shrimp sushi and it wasn’t bad… shrimp didn’t seem fresh enough for my liking. Service always great!

It’s been a long time since we dined in, TBH, but Taiko is our absolute sushi go—to in the Springfield area. Very friendly staff and excellent quality. We like places that don’t overdo the cream cheese and baked/cooked options; c’mon, it’s sushi! And we love that they offer delivery to our house. We have loved the Capital, Taiko, Fire Phoenix, Mango Madness and White House signature rolls (esp the Taiko). Rainbow roll is excellent. Sakura roll was interesting. We did not love the Sushi Sandwich roll - it just needed something else. All in all: a great place for sushi.

Came in today for the first time around 3pm. Ordered miso soup, a sushi roll and an udon noodle soup. Food was really good and well made. Interior of the restaurant is cozy and cute. I will be passing by again.

Best Japenese Sushi Bar in Springfield Va. Atmosphere could be better, but the food, selection, and presentation are excellent. It's a bit pricey, but good sushi is always worth it.

This is my go-to place in Springfield for sushi. I usually order take out, but recently I chose to dine in. I wanted to decompress and their atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The miso soup had so much love put into it. I felt as if a blanket was wrapped around me. The Dragon roll is my favorite roll to get, I love the taste of eel! The hot sake was good as well. The staff are so wonderful to interact with. I will always recommend this place!

Very fresh and flavorful sushi. Stopped in randomly for some lunch. Got the Maki Lunch Special 2 roll (Spicy tuna, Spicy blue crab). House sake as well. Everything was good. Ordered the Sweetie Roll to top it off. Lets see.

Delicious sushi. The miso soup is spot on. For the salad I normally dislike the dressing but this was actually tasty. I got the spicy tuna and it was delicious. I had to get seconds to take home. Check this place out, it won’t disappoint.

Pretty cool sushi place. It's nice and modern without being too fancy. Didn't get to try the sushi, but the ramen was good.

This has become my go-to local sushi place. The sushi is always fresh, the portions are reasonable as well as the prices. They have several creative rolls…two of my favorites are the Naruto and the Sushi Sandwich.

We had Rainbow, Green Dragon, Black Dragon, Godzilla, Naruto, Sakura Rolls. Uni (sea Urchin) and Mackerels. We finished it off with some warm sake. The best one was the mackarel, it is just right, the taste, the temperature, you can tell it is fresh. I really liked the rainbow and dragon rolls, can never go wrong with those. Naruto roll was refreshing, the outter layer made with cucumbers. Sea Urchin was very rich, but had a slight fishy aftertaste. Overall, I enjoyed this little gem out here in Springfield.
