cool place. If it’s your first time here, staff will bring you a try-out plate to help you find your favorite flavor of chili out of 4 kinds they have. Nice service.

Just a nice place with very nice people (esp the very hard working, honest blonde lady) to get decent food. We've been coming here and its other locations for many years. Too bad the Woodbridge and the Manassas locations closed. So we make the drive to Springfield and Fairfax and at times the other locations because there is no other chili joint like it, esp if you also like to shoot pool. Great OPEN Hours and Days too.

My husband and I have popped by this Hard Times location a few times over the years for chili mac, wings, and their weekend breakfast buffet, and went there this evening to try their dinner entrees for the first time because they have daily specials, and customers can get $3 each entree on Saturdays. My husband got their sirloin tips (+ sides of onion rings and cilantro rice), and I got their fish and chips (+ cilantro rice), and we were both pleasantly surprised by how large, delicious, and fresh their entrees are. The sirloin tips are so tender and have a delicious char. The cod and French fries were very fresh (definitely not from frozen)! Overall, great prices for much better than expected food! Their service has always been great - the waitstaff has always been so friendly and hospitable. Their breakfast buffet is delicious and hard to beat for $14.99!

Service is amazing. Every person I spoke to was helpful and kind. Well done, and thank you. Was provided a tasting of four types of chilli including veggie which I liked a bunch but went with the Texas spicy chilli on my burger this time. I think the burger is made the style the Cafe is known for but a little salty for my taste. I will go back soon to try chilli Mac. And maybe shoot some pool. They have a lot of tables in the back and it has a good pool hall vibe.

Still great local pool hall like it's been for years. Food isn't bad, and service isn't either. They just seem to be a little but understaffed at times since it's just the bartender running around taking care of the patrons along with handling the bar. Great place to shoot some pool and hang out with your buds and everyone there. Will always be the spot to shoot pool, catch the games, light up a smoke, and vibe out with your surroundings. Cheers.

It’s just ok but never a primary choice to go. One thing I have always experienced which made me giving 4 star is that when you want to checkout for pool. they’d take forever to come and receive the balls tray and check you out. It makes you feel like you’re never a priority.

Fish tacos were amazing and everything that came out of the kitchen looked great. This will definitely be a new go to restaurant. Our server Aggie did a really great job too, we had a very good time… plan on playing pool next visit, which will be soon.

In front, a friendly family restaurant with generous portions of really good and reasonably priced food. In back, a bar and pool hall. My pork ribs with sweet potato fries, corn bread, and cole slaw was delicious. Although there's construction next door, it was nice and quiet inside. The tables were sanitized as soon as diners left.
