I had Bambino’s cater my wedding. They have the best catering prices in town and the food was absolutely incredible! I had so many different kinds of pasta and appetizers and everything was perfect! They also sent servers to help and that was great too! I would recommend Bambino’s for any catering needs you may have or just for a great lunch/ dinner in the restaurant. The best Italian food in Springfield!
We had a very good meal at Bambinos Cafe on Delmar. Even better, we made the 4:00 lunch menu deadline by 10 minutes so it was even better!!!

Always a good dinner at Bambinos. Over the years we've taken family from out of town and out of state there, sometimes more than once. It's been exceptionally nice on a week day when we could really enjoy our company and the atmosphere. My absolute favorite is the Ziti. The meat is so tender and flavorful, and there are enough leftovers for 2-3 meals. Everyone is always able to find something they like on the menu. My only complaint is about being seated In the covered patio area last night. You were crowded, and we weren't given an option. I wore my wool coat throughout dinner and was still chilly, although my husband and others seemed to be alright. Still, I WILL be back again.

We are very glad we decided to go out night before last! It was amazing. I felt really comfortable there, it was not my first time there but it was his first time and he was super impressed. The spinach artichoke dip is homemade and to die for! The portions are big the prices are reasonable and the staff was nice, helpful and checked to see how we liked our meal as well. Fully satisfied and I’m hoping we can fit them into our routine more often. Had a great experience!

Every pasta has its unique taste I've tried from there . My favorite place defenitly for pasta! Had the grilled chicken with asparagus and grilled tomotaes with a special balsamic sauce yesterday for the first time, very good!

This place is incredible!!! Gourmet food for a very reasonable price. I'm not much of a fan of pasta, but have had theirs a could of times and it's delicious! I love the antipasto salad and their paninis are THE BEST!!!
It's a nice place to eat, went here last summer and haven't been back yet. The waitress called me weird for reading a newspaper and wanting balsamic reduction for my bread.

Very good and a large portion at a reasonable price. My wife had the Diana and I had the Ziti. They were both delicious I would highly recommend it. Had my leftovers today yum.
Best pasta in Springfield!. Stop reading reviews and go eat at Bambinos! Very reasonably priced, sizable portions, and delicious food. The only thing I would recommend not getting is the hummus. Everything else I've tried is superb.

Fun. Unique. Delicious. On March 3, during an ice storm, several friends and I went to Bambinos for the first time and it was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, our waitress Sarah was a great person to talk to! She gave us some suggestions on the menu. They constantly had people coming in and filling tables!
For our appetizers, we tried the toasted ravioli and spinach & artichoke dip. The toasted ravioli were really good, crunchy on the outside, warm and soft inside, with creamy marinara sauce. The spinach artichoke dip was not your typical style: it was more of a cheese bisque sauce with whole spinach leaves and artichoke bits. The bitterness of artichoke was not overwhelming but it was presentable.
For the main courses, we ordered The Zia, Tortellini Gorgonzola, and Crab Cake & Pasta. Starting with the Tortellini, it was green, yellow, and orange pasta with a combination of beef and cheese, topped with green pepper pesto sauce. Now pesto sauce is usually powdery and can be chunky, but this was a really creamy and less spice, making it very delicious and bearable. With the Zia, a chicken alfredo pasta: the chicken was very lean, clean, and juciey, usually it would be dry but they did a great job. With the Crab Cake & Pasta, the Crab cakes were delicious! The cakes were warm, and moist with a combination of great spices. I believe they used to much bread mix but the sauce they topped with it (a tomato-mayo combination) was able to dull down the "doughyness".
Finally the dessert, we shared to pieces of their Chocolate almond cheescake. The chocolate was very dark within the cake, kind of taking away from the smooth cream cheese filling. With almonds were mixed with a crunchy pie crust bottom, with plenty of flavor and sweetness of the almonds.
With a few flavoring issues that could be straightened out, Bambino's Cafe was absolutely delicious and a great place to go out to eat and hang with friends!

Absolutely AMAZING! We had the spinach artichoke dip and that was by far the most incredible spin art dip we have ever had. Pizza was good it was a little light on the sauce and pasta was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone hungry for a great meal!
Highly Recommend. This place serves great potions and it taste phenomenal. The pasta is a hit with my friends and family but I also like the large paninis.

Fantastic. In a quirky way, I imagine the life as a hobbit as I walk in. With 'home meets restaurant' in mind, you're heading into the fray as you stand merely inches away from someone's pasta; awkwardly taking in the size of the place moments after entering through the small doorway. Every single fork clinging against its plate makes you hungrier. Not to worry; there's plenty of fresh bread, olive oil, and minced garlic to feed an army. Or until you're ready. Service is fast and plentiful; not once has my straw been grasping for Dr. Pepper, or my menu sat at the edge of the table begging to be picked up. The food is great, and always steaming upon arrival. I couldn't count the times that I have been hidden away in this crevice of an eatery; nor will I find myself trying. It would indeed be shameful. I would encourage anyone to eat here, with only one thing in mind: think small. If you don't have a small party (4 or less) you might find yourself waiting quite awhile for that army of bread and olive oil.
Great ambiance and good portion sizes at decent prices. Parking can be a bit tricky during dinner hour, but the food is worth the wait!

What a find this place is...it's not on a main street so you would never find it without knowing about it first. The service was great and the food was even better. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was so much nicer than a chain.
Yummo!. This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Springfield. The food is always delicious and I never know what I want. The Pesto sauce is my absolute favorite although the portabello ravioli is really good too (I always steal a bite from someone else).
If you stop by, you have to try the tiramisu. It is the perfect amount of sweet and savory and well worth the price!!!!
Neat little place in an odd location in a neighborhood by campus. Parking is nil and its usually busy so be prepared with ample time. The food is a real treat-and the atmosphere is bustling but chill at the same time. My only complaint is that I paid five+ dollars for an order of hummus to go and it was maybe 3/4 of a cup. But other than that-its definitely on my places to recommend list.
Have some free time?. If you have impeccable taste and like to use Google Maps on your phone, then you have to try Bambinos. Even after looking up the location at home, I still had to use my google maps on my IPhone to find the location and once I arrived I had little hope this Italian restaurant would tickle my fancy. Parking was nearly impossible and people were busing tables themselves just to find a place to sit. The service took, what seemed like, forever but the food was worth it. My plate came out hot, the serving size was enough for two meals and the pricing was excellent. Like I said, if you have some extra time to kill and have a good sense of direction you would be stupid to not go and eat at Bambinos.
Nice casual Italian. Don't expect "fine dining" but expect really good Italian dishes prepared fresh and served by a friendly staff. Well hidden, but very popular.
I live across the street. Great food, affordable and always a fun atmosphere. They don't care if I see some friends and just sit down to chat for a few. Also, can have several vegan options!
Such Good Food!. I went here for my bachelorette party and it was so delicious! The bread they give you to start is so nice and warm and very addictive. And the portion sizes on the entrees are huge. I made 3 meals out of my one! And to top it all off the prices are really decent. It is kind of hard to find if you don't know Springfield, but very worth trying.
Liked the papa. The fire roasted ceasar salad was very nice. Not fancy but worth a visit.
An Absolute Winner for a Sunday Luncheon. My party of five had a variety of orders covering pasta, paninis, and pizza, and smiles were found all about.
Seating was prompt, service attentive, and the tab was surprisingly acceptable considering the quality and volume of food that had been served. Five adults' meals, a couple teas, a soft drink, and a couple of Boulevard Unfiltered Wheats came in under $60.
This is an establishment worth visiting.

Pretty darn good. Food's pretty good (excellent in spots), drinks selection is pretty good. Covered patio, friendly service-- very neighborhoody. Pastas range from pretty good to really good, and the sandwiches (only available at lunch) are good. Dinner pasta portion size is ridiculously vast-- the smaller "lunch" portion feeds me for two meals, while the dinner portion gorges me for two meals. Nice folk, very close to MSU Arts and Letters side of campus.

Yummy!. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Springfield. It's near the college campus and it's very affordable. Most dishes are between $8-13 for dinner. I usually get so much food that I can get 3 meals out of one visit. The small dinner salad is also scrumptious, as well as the bread. Gary is the best waiter, but he's often quite busy. The atmosphere is casual and it's a small place, only about 14 tables and a patio.
Great Food, Great Atmosphere. We love to sit outside and enjoy amazing pasta and salads. One of our favorite places to eat in the Spring/Summer. Waitstaff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Very cool joint near campus. Great pasta and sandwiches. Big portions for dinner so you could split a pasta dish. The bruchetta is also very good.
