First time in to Van Gogh’s. The place, as other reviews have mentioned, is open, airy, and comfortable. The colors and Dutch-centric decor are a feast for the eyes.
Now, this food situation: I tried daubigny’s garden, based on my kind waiter’s recommendation — a great and subtle combination of flavor atop a traditional Dutch pannenkoeken. I sipped coffee, had a palate-cleansing water, and enough food left over for repeat delight later. My only regret was having no room for dessert. That will have to wait for next time... and there will definitely be a later! Thanks for a sublime experience, Van Gogh’s Eeterie!
As a vegan family it’s so hard to go out for breakfast but then we found this place! Several vegan options and ALL delicious. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, great coffee, and delicious food! I would recommend to absolutely everyone. The food tastes clean, fresh, flavorful, and the servings are quite ample. I can’t wait to try their lunch and dinner menus!
Side note for vegans: They don’t look at you weird when you say you are vegan and can help you navigate the menu easily. We ordered the Tofu Scramble, Daubigny’s Garden, and the Fruit Platter Vegan pancake. There were more options we didn’t have room to try. The portions are huge and very filling.
We went for Sunday brunch and it was a great experience from start to finish ! The staff were super friendly and VERY helpful in explaining the different menu options and choices ! The food was delicious , the atmosphere was very nice , and it was a great experience ! Highly recommend the Sunflower breakfast pancake and the dessert pancake Death by Chocolate! Can’t wait to go back !

The Vegan options here were INCREDIBLE! It's so hard to find delicious vegan breakfast offerings outside of oatmeal and avocado toast and this beautiful restaurant offered several different options that were full of flavor!
I had the curry infused tofu scramble and it was amazing!! The service here was friendly, courteous, and very helpful to let us know about all of the vegan possibilities on their menu.
Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend you come and try this place. We had the beet hummus for an appetizer. It was really good. For entrees we had the meatball stamppot and the Aruba pannenkoeken. Very yummy and good sized portions. For dessert we went all out and got all of them! Not really! We had the stroopwafel and the double Dutch tiramisu. Wow:). We will return.
My wife and I tried Van Gogh's for the first time on Date Night. The interior design is a definite nod from Scandinavian and Dutch influences...minimal and streamlined...light, airy and comfortable. We were pleased to see a familiar face running the front of the house with whom we've always had a great experience...whether it was Nonna's, Cafe Cusco and now Van Gogh's, her knowledge of the menu and the wine selections are spot on. The entrées were terrific with my wife opting for one of the savory pancakes with shawarma beef paired with greens and a curry catsup. I went with the Dutch Meatballs with a gravy over mashed potato with kraut and bacon, flanked by fresh greens. The dish was simple, comfort food just perfect for a cool evening. We would highly recommend Van Gogh's and look forward to the next opportunity to try more of the menu.
The food is phenomenal! I loved the food, the wait staff, the chefs, the atmosphere! Can’t say enough wonderful things about the entire experience! I am determined to try everything on the menu! It all sounds and smells wonderful!
Brunch today was SO good! C-Street needed something like this! My husband and I split the Sunflower Pancake and the Pirates of the Caribbean pancake. YUM! These pancakes were ginormous (12” I think) the sunflower was topped with scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, & potatoes while the Pirates of the Caribbean was topped with rum soaked raisins, caramel, bananas, cinnamon, & a scoop of ice cream. My husband and I are pretty die hard fans of a French crepe restaurant here in town for brunch but Van Gogh’s may convince us otherwise! So unique!
Had the pleasure of eating Brunch there this last Sunday. First of all, the atmosphere is like no other in the city - you feel transported to a larger city. We ordered three different pancakes and all were different and amazing. We all switched to more classic American egg/bacon/sausage for our main course - amazing - and then finished with the Dutch Chocolate Pancake. Again, a homerun. Thank you, Joe Gidman and Claire Gidman, for having the guts and gumption to push the envelope yet again for Springfield. Because of you, we all have a little better understanding of food from around the world. You have opened our eyes and our world and given us a gift that we cherish. Well done - keep up the good work!
Had the Morning in Den Haag, for breakfast. It was great. The staff was great and the decor is great. We will be back. Nice place.
First time eating at Van Gogh's Eeterie. Awesome, traditional Dutch food, with cheeses and herring imported from the Netherlands. Fast, friendly service. Our waiter, David, was great, friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. You have to try it!
This is a great place for Brunch! I ordered the Pirates of Caribbean Pancake and it was the best pancake I've ever had! My sister and I shared a delicious pitcher of Mimosa for an awesome price! The service was great! Nice atmosphere and a great addition to C-street! I can't wait to visit again!

We loved The food and the service! Incredibly different flavors and textures. The pancakes were incredible and the restaurant treated us to an 25th Anniversary dessert...the apple tart. The lavender mocha and pomegranate tea were incredible! We'll go back again anytime! Too many more new treats to try!
Went today for the first time - they’ve only been open a week and the staff is already timely and knowledgeable, the food was AMAZING, and I’m convinced they have the best tiramisu in 417. EAT HERE
