We just had lunch there and wow, nice place, off the path of the touristic places! So glad we were looking for a place to just drink and found it and got caught by the wonderful smell and had to order food! Great decision.
The place was FULL in just 30 min.
We all had different dished and ALL of them were wonderfully seasoned and cooked!
Love it, so worth it!

This is one of those little restaurants down a side street you really have to stop and enjoy. I had the Greek special with spinach pie stuffed Olive leaves small Greek salad which was anything but small and of course bread she had something I can't pronounce that was wrapped in cabbage with rice and beef and was delicious the food was excellent prices were reasonable definitely good for lunch or dinner. St Augustine secret that shouldn't be a secret.

The food was fantastic! This place is a hidden gem.
We sampled the blueberry Parogies, Borsh soup, Greek salad and spinach pie. Not one complaint!

OUTSTANDING! We've been to st. Augustine many times and this place has always been on the list of must tries but we've never made it in. We were in town this year for opening night of the Nights of Lights, We stopped in about an hour before closing and were lucky enough to get a cute table at the front of the shop. David, our server of the evening was PHENOMENAL, it was very busy, as I'm sure it was all day but even at the end of the night he was on top of his game and and his amazing service was matched by his humor and witty personality. He made our visit that much more enjoyable. We ordered satued potato and cheese Perogies with bacon and onion, paired with a beer of David's suggestion for My husband which he thoroughly enjoyed. We both absolutely LOVED the Perogies. The atmosphere in this little restaurant is so quiant and homey, the service is outstanding, as is the food. I cannot say enough good things about this little gem. We will definitely adding this to the MUST DO list from now on!

This is an old hole in the wall diner. We were interested in the unusual Eastern European wines they had on the menu so my husband and I ordered two different kinds… sadly they were kind of awful. The food is not bad but not memorable nor does it evoke a return.

The food is great, the service is amazing, and the place itself is small and quaint. A great place for a quick bite or a full meal, would definitely recommend for authentic polish or Greek cuisine

I had the Polish Kielbasa & sauerkraut. Included perogies. Top off with poppy seed kolach. Well worth the visit.

Charming little place. I had a Gyro, and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Some of the best tzatziki sauce I've had, beautiful crispy pork, lovely pita bread, fresh veggies, and just a wonderful 1st experience. Everything is homemade and tasted really fresh. The kitchen looks like a home kitchen. It's clean and the owners are so nice! They have a gorgeous collection of wines and beers. I would highly recommend Gaufres and Goods for a nice lunch. Get the Gyro! You won't regret it.

Gaufre’s is our favorite restaurant, ever. From Tasting Tours when on Aviles to Friday night’s art April walk we love gaufre’s like a friend who loves us. Sitting in Artillery Lane, cafe style, we dined among passers by, old loved friends and new love babies of young strangers wandering ‘our’ streets. Gaufre’s will take you to Europe, France, Greece,Poland, the Islands, all over this old world with their charm and culinary expression. Gaufre’s is the best compliment to our little downtown.

Every dish was so delicious! Taste like homede food, like that dish your grandma makes and you love. Very kind and friendly service. Super recommended stuffed cabbage.

The service was really good. I also enjoyed my Apricot and Almond Cookie. The dining room was charming.
However, the gyro I had was not very good. The menu said marinated lamb and pork. I was served burnt bacon ends. There was absolutely no lamb and the pork was so deep fried it was like eating stones.
I would go back for a cup of coffee and dessert, but the gyro was unforgivable.

The stuffed cabbage and perogies were very good. Our server Amanda was very friendly and gave us great service. Definitely recommend and will be back again.

We stumbled onto Gaufre's on our first visit to St. Augustine and we found a little treasure. The authentic perogies and cabbage rolls paired perfectly with polish beer, and great hospitality. My husband grew up with a Polish grandmother and our lunch today took him back in time. Thanks so much to staff, and although we had no room today for dessert, we will be back before leaving town for their European pastries, and cant' wait!

So happy to have found this gem! The Borsch was perfectly delightful. It is light and tasty without too many ingredients creating chaos. The Barley Soup was mellow, delicious, and comforting. We also tried the Hunter's Stew which was very meaty and rich, I recommend getting some bread to accompany it. We tried all four pierogie options, and honestly, it wouldn't be fair to choose one over the others - they were all different and equally yummy! Thank you Gaufre's, you made our day. We'll definitely be back.

This is seriously my favorite restaurant of all time. My husbands family has some polish roots, and I had pierogis for the first time with them.... well Gaufres taste just the same as homes! We drive 3 hours for it and the whole time we are planning the trip we include the stops we will make here. Plus the home made whipped cream- I would seriously order it for delivery it’s that good!!!! Ps Gaufres start delivering pierogis and cream

Growing up in a Polish family, stuffed cabbage and pierogies were always on the menu. On our trip to St. Augustine last week, my husband pointed out your restaurant. I was extremely excited to try it, but also knew it probably wouldn't taste as good as my grandmother's.
How wrong I was! The food is absolutely amazing and I could not stop smiling, it brought back memories of eating in my grandmother's kitchen. The meal was my favorite the whole week we were in St. Augustine. Thank you for wonderful service and for making my belly happy! Loved it!!

Outstanding service and the food is absolutely scrumptious with that old world atmosphere. We lived in Europe for 13 years and this restaurant reminds us of that continent very much so!

Service was good until it got really busy then one person for the whole joint of 15 full tables was not enough! Food was excellent!

Amazing pierogi's and delicious waffles! I really recommend this place!

I wish I knew about this place sooner. Pierogi was so good, as was the poppyseed roll. I might have missed it on the menu, but kielbasa would be awesome! Service was awesome. I wish I lived closer. I can't wait to bring parents when they come on vacation.
