Real deal..never had anything that was not top notch. Excellent food and service. Been eating there for years food is consistent and service is exceptional. Everything is fresh and even real Sangria wine. Love it...
This was one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to since I lived in San Antonio! The food is authentic and fresh! Everything we ate tasted homemade and was delicious! I highly recommend this place if you are in the St. Augustine area!

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant in St. Augustine! Friendly staff, fabulous food! The ceviche is amazing, the Mexican salad and carnitas is so good too, and the chimichanga man on man it's good! Give them a try and you'll see why they are the best!!!
Best restaurant where everything is freshly prepared and have that homemade style and taste. I usually don't eat fish in a restaurant, but I just ate the Veracruz style red snapper, and has been the best dish I ever had in the Jacksonville/ St Augustine area!

This restaurant carries my favorite drink horchata and I'm very impressed on how it tastes. It's got a Very nice atmosphere, the owner is fantastic and very friendly and it's definitely a place to go back to all the time.

The food was delicious! The Red snapper tacos were amazing! Five of us were eating and everyone agreed their food was great! The ingredients were fresh. Nice atmosphere. The chicken fajitas were flammed at the table.
This place was soo good. We came in late after coming into town and got good service and great food! We'll be back on our next visit to St Augustine!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this restaurant!! My husband lived in Mex & SW for decades and he highly recommends La Cocina! The food is very fresh, the drinks are cold and the staff is efficient and willing to please!! I always get the Chicken Fajitas, They are so much FUN. You won't leave hungry!

GREAT food. We were looking for a quick Mexican restaurant on our
last night in St. Augustine. After looking at reviews for a few places, this one topped the list. I'm so glad we chose it. Salsa is fresh, which is a must! I got the flautas with both beef and chicken. The beef was so flavoraful and just melted away in my mouth! Definitely recommend!

Great lunch place!. The prices at dinner seem a bit high, but the lunch menu is good. The atmosphere here is great, pretty and colorful. Good service, fantastic fresh guacamole. Love the vegetarian empanadas.

ALWAYS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!. We are locals and we eat here very often. The food is wonderful. Always fresh, hot and delicious. The service is great as well. Polite, friendly and prompt. You could not ask for anything better. If you don't like the food or have a issue with the staff then there is just no making you happy in life. This is a small restaurant, but oh my goodness, it's one of the best in town.

We found reviews for La Cocina on another site (sorry) and decided to try it and we were not disappointed.
My roommate who loves Mexican food, said the Chiles Rellenos was the best she every had. No where else comes close to cooking it the right way like they do. I had the Chicken Enchiladas and was not disappointed. Everything was great from the food to the waitress and the prices are not bad either. You can easily miss it going south like we did. Its just a mile or two past the car dealership, across from Putnam Bank. Its well worth the trip there.
Excellent food! Fresh, high quality meat. You will pay a little more, we spent about $10 a meal at lunch and you won't find any combos or speedy gonzalis run of the mill dishes. The shreaded beef was perfect, not too salty and didn't taste like pot roast with salsa on top. Speaking of salsa-fresh and no one overbearing ingrediant. Super de-lish place that would hold it's own in any town.

Best Mexican in town. This is the best Mexican food in St. Aug. Not a lot of places here for Mexican granted, but this place really stands out. No stale chips and vat salsa here. Service and presentation are top notch. Excellent food!
