Cabi Style with Leza
Small little local taco joint that is as fun as it is good. Not many tables and if you get. Drink or chips it’s $20 a person at least. Sour cream or sauce is extra and doesn’t come with the tacos or nachos. No draft beers. Being coming here for years for my kids to get a quick and bite. Perfect for that and super casual style.

My son and I stopped in on a whim as we were visiting St. Augustine for the day. They have vegan options and my son got the avocado tacos. I got the Mahi Mahi tacos.
He comment the tacos were really good and would go back for more and as to try other items on the menu. We agreed the house sauce is spicy but not too much, you can load it on your chips or tacos. We like all kinds of spicy food though. The extra salsa was mild, good, and tasty.
Overall I will visit again and again, they sell the tacos À la cart. I didn’t see a taco combo or taco platter, however, you can mix and match items that way. I ordered pretty quick and didn’t take a lot of time to analyze the menu board.
Instead I asked a staff member what their favorite item was and they recommended the Mahi Mahi fish tacos. She wasn’t wrong, I see why they are a best seller. Very delicious, well cooked, and flavorful.
I’m going to try the burrito and other items as time goes by. They have arepas too, great idea. The restaurant has a small dining area inside with air conditioning, big windows, and lots of natural
light. They have a patio outside too. Decor has a kind of edgy and surfy feel, yet family friendly as I saw all ages there, including younger and older families. Staff was polite, helpful and nice, kitchen was productive and everyone working there had a positive vibe.
Great place right near the beach and the historic area is not too far down the road. 🤙

My friend took me there for lunch as it is one of his favorite places and the tacos are some of the best I have had in NE Florida. They tacos is unique, because their shells are double decker, a flour tortilla outside of a corn tortilla held together with cheddar cheese, so non-dairy people need to be aware of this. I picked out three tacos one beef, one chicken, one shrimp. They were not stingy on the meat when it came to the beef. My buddy recommended a spoon because he guaranteed that the beef with her back onto the plate as you get it. The show held together nicely which is a rare exception. The shrimp had a beautiful charm them. Added another level of complexity and smoking us to the Taco. The chicken-flavored was amazing, but my only complaint with the chicken is that the meat was a little dry. They make an excellent mojo sauce that is a great topper for all the meat that I tried today.

Over priced and over rated! Anyone claiming this is the best Mexican in NE Florida, doesn't know Mexican.
To be fair, the food wasn't bad. The hot sauce (spicy buffalo sauce) and the upcharge for salsa (actually pico de gallo) was a $1.50 for a little tiny cup to go with the 1/2 bag of tortilla chips left us dumbfounded!
I'm sorry but the juice is not worth the squeeze at Mojo's Tacos. It is doubtful that we would repeat our visit.

This place is a must try! Their tacos are amazing! They have a hard shell surrounded by a soft, toasted shell and the two are held together by melted cheese. That made the texture really interesting. We had the shrimp and fish tacos and they were so good! The flavors were delicious and their hot sauce had great flavor, not just pure heat. It was a great casual quick lunch before we headed to do some sightseeing!

Pleasantly surprised! We got fish tacos, fish salad, beef nachos, and beef burrito. All were delicious. The fish was seasoned perfectly and was so delicious. The burrito and nachos were nice sized portions. The staff was very friendly and down to earth. Great place to stop for some good eats!

Great taco shop! Was staying next door for a concert at the Ampitheater and glad we tried them! Tacos - Arepas - and queso - can’t go wrong. It was very tasty and priced well.

I had the shrimp tacos, gf had chicken nachos - both were amazing! Great people too, very cool and helpful. We will definitely be back. 😎

Great place. Nothing too fancy and counter service. Eclectic music selection playing. Example: Pink Floyd’s “Time” done by a Reggae group. Cool! The food was outstanding. The best nachos I’ve ever had. The burrito was fantastic and the taco was awesome. Come hungry. A+ food!

This place just ruined me for all other food and restaurants. Best, fresh, perfectly seasoned food. Thanks for offering vegan options.

I’ve been coming to this place for the last few years and it’s by far my favorite place to get shrimp burritos !!!! Great people better food !!!!

It was ok-I guess if you haven’t had a lot of good tacos in various cities. Nacho chips are actually “Tostitos” which was a disappointment. Grilled shrimp was pretty good but rice and beans didn’t taste fully cooked and red onions kill the flavor. It’s a cute trendy little atmosphere that will attract tourists but they need to focus more on the quality of food. IMO of course.

The place is a little small but the food is so worth it. I had the burrito and it was very good. Definitely one of my favorite stops.

Great food well priced. Several of us went back before leaving Saint Augustine to buy souvenir (really cool) shirts promoting Mojo's Tacos. And... They have the Amazing Coca-Cola Freestyle machine to mix your personal flavor combination! A+

Mahi tacos on point and I love any place that plays reggae while dining!
Susan Myers
Quaint little taco place. We split the Burrito Bowl with ground beef & your mojo sauce. We'll definitely be back! Happy 4th!

These are the best tacos I’ve ever had. My family was in town for vacation. We ended up eating here about 5 times over the week and a half we were in town.

The friendly atmosphere! I had a shrimp taco salad was the best every, very fresh, plump shrimps.
Wish there was one in Tallahassee or near the coast (Panacea, Saint Marks Florida).
Daniel Richards
Hands down the very best tacos in North Florida! I love the beef and mahi tacos!

Found them on YELP. They were a little busy, food was slightly delayed, but I really enjoyed my breakfast tacos. Totally worth it. Think I might get some to take home with me tomorrow they were that tasty.
Delainaruddell
very tasty breakfast burritos but no coffee 😭 otherwise it was awesome and yummy. Good prices and excellent location. Bathroom was a little funky but there was a sign that said it was under construction soooo we forgive 😛

It's not fast, be patient. It's the best taco we've ever had!!!the place has great service without counting the wait.it still looks a little old though.

We stopped in St. Augustine on our way to Orlando and found Mojo Tacos on Urban Spoon. Everything we had there was outstanding. We had fish tacos, chicken tacos, burritos and an order of nachos. Everything was high quality, fresh and extremely tasty. Will definitely eat there again. Highly recommend!

Commercial food and chips... Bland and unappealing... Recommend find another place

Great food.....very disappointing hours in Vilano. Love all of the menu items.....delicious.....but never know if they are open or will close early. Hours on the door mean nothing.

Chicken Taco. Yummy. A meal.

I would do unspeakable things to have breakfast here again.. If you're considering eating here, think to yourself: Have I ever experienced nirvana? If no, order something off the breakfast menu. The breakfast taco is phenomenal. If I had to crawl through broken glass to place my order here again I would really consider it.
Scott
Excellent fish taco. I love the double-hulled construction. (Soft shell over hard shell). Cool place, has a good vibe.
Comandearshugs
Yummy :-). Mojo's is my favorite place to eat vegan tacos!
Carol3009
Really?. Better than Taco Bell, not as good as Moes, just not the WOW taste factor I was expecting....place seemed filthy dirty to me.

Stopped in for a breakfast taco. And it was absolutely the best I have ever had. It was well worth more than the 3.50 they charged. We will be back.
Bethany Hunsinger
Great tacos....we tried the shrimp and fish. Chips, salsa, and guacamole were pretty disappointing. Great atmosphere and cheap!

Not good. I have been to the one on vilano twice and both times where just very disappointing. Plain flavor and the rice is extremely soggy in the burritos. Also the second time I went I asked for a cup of coffee and the cashier flat out said she wouldn't brew me a fresh cup because it was no longer breakfast, even though the coffee maker was on. I even told her I would wait for coffee because I was not in a hurry and she still said no. I couldn't believe how rude she was. Expecially after I spent 20 bucks already .Defiantly won't be going back.

Didn't like it! Cold rice, 5 chips in a brown bag, no plates, no forks to eat with! Now i have to find another lunch!
Jay
Just had the Ranchero Breakfast burrito. Awesome. The real deal and couldn't finish in one sitting.

Love the burritos!. My husband and I have gone back multiple times for the burrito. Love the seasoning, and we feel like its the best value for your money. Chicken and Fish tacos are good, but beef was so-so. We prefer tacos from another nearby taco shack, but if its burritos we want, this is where we prefer for SURE. I do wish they'd take the prices down a smidge, maybe just like, $5 for a burrito. Just two burritos (and handful of chips) are $14 - would be a bit happier paying around $10. Otherwise, we dig it.

Worst Tacos EVER. I went here based on the reviews of friends and online. Our whole family loves tacos and my hubby was excited to try the fish tacos. I had the chicken. Both of us were choking our food down. The chicken is a texture challenging mush that you could sculpt and my husband said the fish was soggy, flavorless and nasty. When they opened up their location in Vilano, we thought we would give them another chance. I had the chicken again and my husband had the beef. My daughter had the beans and rice tacos and my son wouldn't even try it again. Same horrible chicken and my husband said he would have rather had a Taco Bell taco. The chips were once again STALE and the staff indifferent. I've wasted enough of my money and time here. I won't go back, and I will make sure I tell others not to bother. There are too many other awesome local places to spend my money.
Flyfish
Only slightly better than taco bell. A meat in a tortilla doesn't make a good taco

Disappointment in food In s.... Disappointment in food
In staff in cleanliness
Above all the food was no where near as stated in reviews I've read

Great spot. Food was fresh. Great place to grab a quick casual bite.
Samantha
Amazing shrimp tacos. A definite must when downtown.
Mary Jane Klempay Beeson
Enjoyed the fish taco and Maggie liked the beef taco! Stay with the taco--the burrito wasn't anything special.
Kristel
On a scale of 10 I give it a 3. Store bought chips, bland black beans, ground beef seasoning out a taco seasoning pack and way to much Valentino sauce. Very pricy for 2 tacos a beans and rice for $12.

Great tacos! Fish, chicken, beef, tofu and tempeh! Fresh and awesome. Cash only is a pain, but easy to get over.
Tracy Lowery
Fish tacos are great every time!

Out of this World Fish Tacos. I don't even like Fish Tacos....but I tried this place out after reading the reviews on Urbanspoon...and it was the best taco I have ever had. Super yummy.

A bit on the expensive side and be prepared to use lots of napkins----very messy...but good.

It would be absolutely perfect if they made their own tortillas! That is the only possible way they could improve the tacos!
Kort
Yummm. I love this place! Their fish tacos are amazing! I just wish they made their own tortilla chips.
FlaBoy
I like it but ..... I enjoyed my first ever visit to Mojo's Tacos very much but can't quite grasp their logic of providing chips and then holding you up for salsa to go with the provided chips. My fish and chicken tacos were quite tasty but it is definitely a bother to have to go back to the cash-only ordering station to buy a drink or the aforementioned salsa serving. I learned that they serve breakfasts starting promptly at 7 AM (Pacific time!) or 10 AM (St. Augustine time). I'll return because, despite their shortcomings, they serve fine fish tacos.
Doc
Taco Bling! Don't usually write about places but this place rocks, coolest vibe, they got there own style, not like all the other Cali imitators. Their Fish tacos rule! Been three times this past week! Thanks guys.

I want more!. I love Mexican food and with the taco shop craze I am overwhelmed, but loving every minute of it. Mojo's has captured the simple yet amazing taste that leaves you wanting more. The ingredients are all fresh and clean, which is hard to find with food anymore. If you are watching what you put in your mouth, you should watch this go in at least once everyday! I love the fish tacos and am hooked on the tempeh burritos. The whole town's talking.....love me some Mojo's!

Chef. Tacos are pretty good if your into extra carbs. They use 2 taco shells- one corn one flour. No bueno if your watchin your calorie intake. Same goes for burrito. Got the bean/rice. It was 90% unseasoned white ricew/ liitle cheese. If i were to count the beans, which would be easy since there were so few. I would say there were 30 in the whole damn thing. No bueno. You are better off makin a Run for the Border...

Mojo’s is obviously (it’s in the title) a taco restaurant. They offer tacos, burrito’s and salads. That’s it. You can customize anything you like, and they’re happy to oblige. I’ve never felt like an inconvenience here. It’s a cash only joint. We’ve forgotten that a time or two and thankfully were able to use the ATM they have inside the restaurant.
