I absolutely love this place! Always cold drinks, friendly smokes from the staff, and never any nonsense going on inside this establishment. It's a very good place to enjoy a couple of drinks with sunset.
With the incredible opportunity the operators have at this beautiful location, they seemingly have wasted this spot without maintaining the beauty of St Pete Beach. Beer was cold, service was quick, cocktail was strong and frozen...all good....but...
The property requires some new eyes to bring it
Right off the bat, if you are reading this to see if it is a place you might want to visit, then you can not park here. Sure its a pain if you don't have a parking membership. But, Uber will drop you off or walk up from the beach. Great place to watch the sunset and relax or play volleyball and wall
Fun place, bartenders have great outfits. But maybe that’s why they turn the fireplace on in the bar when it was 72° out. I know I’m not a local but that’s not cold. Other than that fireplace the Little river flowing through the bar is cool and the staff is friendly.
Member or VIP car parking is odd
No military discount.. If we had to park then score would be 1. Cause we aren't in the "parking club". Hoping the renovations ongoing will enhance this once great beach bar. Very limited food menu. No draft beer. Great location, perhaps improvements are on the way. BRING BACK SMILEYS, and its. food

Been going to the Undertow for 15 years, and was great. However, it is now "members only parking", and they did so to keep the "riff raft out". Both a patron and a customer used these words, and stressed they wanted to be "members only". Fine, plenty of other places on the beach. We were glad to
