Great sushi! Pricey, but worth it. The restaurant was full on a Friday night so there was a delay in getting the sushi but it was overall great. The waitresses were attentive but they missed orders from tables next to us (but not ours though). We also ordered udon and the broth tasted good.

Sushi here is always so good. A friend had brought us here over twenty years ago. Still coming back

You've got the typical "japanese restaurant in the US" menu - lots of sushi, rolls, yakitori, and whatever. But, if you look closely, you'll find a couple of hidden gems on the menu that are, quite simply stellar. The Kamemashi (think "rice cooked in a cast-iron pot w/ a crunchy bottom and chicken-fat drippings") is worth it, as is the Tonkatsu. The thing is, *this* is the stuff of excellence in "Japanese Cooking", so check it out... (Oh, most importantly, they have an excellent sake selection - and *that* makes the trip worth it all by itself!)

We used to go to Kotobuki all the time when we lived in Stamford years ago. It's a bit out of the way for us now but we were tired of our local, average sushi spots. On a whim we ordered from Kotobuki last night and drove the extra ten minutes each way. It was well worth it! Kotobuki has the best sushi in CT. Even a simple spicy tuna roll was a delicious surprise. We will be back again soon. Thank you!
