AMAZING. The food was great and very reasonably priced. It was a very nice atmosphere and the employees made me feel like i was at home. I had Roland as my waiter. Not only is he easy on the eyes but he is great at what he does. I will definitely go back!
Mangia!. What a meal! My favorite dish is the Chicken Eugene which Dom was taught by his Uncle. "Gene's" who was famous on SI for his restaurant too. . Dom's family was famous for their italian restaurants and bakery. His loyal customers know good food and quality which is what keeps them coming back....keep up the good work guys! mmm...can't wait to come back!
Girls Night Out!. The last time I had dinner with this level of Superior Food and Great Atmosphere I was at my Grandmother's house in Redhook many years ago. I went there with 5 girlfriends at the worst time of my life and as soon as I walked in and took a deep breath, I thought I was was Home! The first thing I said to my friends after one bite was "I Could Live Here"! Can't wait to go back for our next Girls night out on 10/2. This time we're staying for Karaoke!! I heard the owner has a Great Voice!! Can't wait to go back!!
In one word, EXCELLENT!!!!!. My husband & I have eaten here several times... Never' ever are we disappointed! The portions are huge, the food is always fresh & delicious, and the service is great! Ever since the original " Bella Mama's" changed owners, I thought good food would never be served again... I was wrong! The menu has so much to chose from and the prices are reasonable for amount of food you get... Everyone leaves w/ doogie bags.. no joke! The wait staff is very attentive... I never feel rushed... They are sooooo polite, too.... Casa Nova is a great place to have a nice night out! get there!
Well kept SI secret... shhh. Authentic family-style Italian, good, manageable portions, and, more importantly, good tasting! Always go home with a doggie bag. Reasonably priced. Don't miss karaoke Thursdays & Saturdays.

The food was good, nothing was great or memorable. We took home three slices of bar pie, two thirds of the bread basket (too good to waste), half of the lasagna, and two thirds of the Bolognese.
