One of best Kabob places out there. Have tried several places, their food has a unique taste. It’s not extremely spicy, but plenty of flavoring. Highly recommend! and they give you sauce bottles at table for dine in.
A wonderful experience- delicious food for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Order at the front and then sit at a table of your choice. Enjoy tea as you wait for the fresh food and look around at the fun artwork and decorations. I always get Ayran as well :) If you live in the Sterling area, you should definitely give Darya Kabob a try.
This place is absolutely amazing and a hidden gem. Best kebab Afghani place I've ever been to and I've been to tons, food is flavorful and generous on the amazing sauces, I recommend beef and chicken kebab with brown rice with carrot and raisin, their spinach is amazing. Honestly wish they had this place where I live in Maryland. I work out here so i always go when I work. Even have delicious tea for you

Delicious Persian traditional food, we tried kufta kebab and chicken kufta.
Nice spot for Dine IN or Take out. Visited this place on Sunday to try their food and it was good experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful you to select the dishes as per your need. Very knowledgeable. Seating is also cozy and good quality is also good. Support our local community to visit sometime.
Hidden gem. One the best Halal Afghan place. As you enter the restaurant the smell of fresh bread greets you. Staff is friendly. We ordered the darya platter (good for two servings)and couple other items. Everything tasted good. They also take booking in advance. At the end you can enjoy the free green tea. Lots of Afghan places took away the green tea but glad to see they still serve it. Restaurant was clean. Definitely recommend this place.
Favorite place to get takeout in Sterling. Always enjoy the gyro platter and hummus. The portions are so big usually is more than enough for two meals
I have been coming here for a while over the years and always was satisfied with their food. However, today we were really blown away. I came here with my Mom today, we got our usual (chicken kabob, beef & chicken kofta) which was delicious. Additionally, we tried their rice pudding (sheer berenj) omg! It was on my top 3 best rice puddings I have tried. Anyway, give them a try, you won’t regret it!

Get Iranian restaurant. Have been coming her for 17+ years and the food is still the same..Yummy and great!! Owners are super nice and friendly and kind. Prices are great for the quantity and quality of food you get there! Wife, kids, friends ans family love it here too!!
Man!!! Where do I start? My husband and I travel for work. We were hangry. We meaning me..lol. We had been driving around looking for a good place to eat. Google suggested this place. The restaurant is clean. The staff was friendly. The FOOD!!! The food smelled so good walking through the door. The lamb chops were tender and flavorful. The chick peas were so dang good!! The lentil soup was... man.. add the green sauce for some kick. The hummus was smooth and delicious. The bread deserves a standing ovation. The rice was fluffy, flavorful and cooked just right. Now! Let's talk about the fish. I'm going back just for the fish. I would have smacked my momma for the fish. 10/10 would recommend. We were dancing at the table.
I expect it to be the best restaurant serving oriental dishes, specifically grills, very tasty and without unbearable heat or spices. I advise everyone to try this restaurant, which is more than wonderful, but I was hoping that attention would be paid to the cleanliness of the place and care in the interior decoration, and the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Fresh. That's the word that can be used to describe this wonderful place. I've been here 3 times already and am in love with the quality and presentation of the food. The staff is very friendly and you can't beat free tea, especially when it's this good. I've tried a variety of the meats and sides and have not found one thing that isn't super good.
So I've been to almost all kabob restaurants in NOVA area, and this is by far, one of the best. Friendly staff, quick service, and most importantly a great fresh tasty food.
Good food and decent service. We tried fish kabob and chicken tandoori kabob. It comes with half naan, one side and two types of rice which was good enough for two people.
