A small, quaint sushi bar, with a chill vibe and decor. Service is solid and prices are reasonable.
The only issue is that the sashimi wasn't... Quite fresh. It wasn't terrible, but it was off-putting and definitely drops the rating a notch.
Used to come here a lot when I lived in this area. Not sure if they still do half off sushi but that was worth it. The sushi quality wasn't bad for half off, but for full price I'd probably go elsewhere.
Staff was always indifferent but they got the job done.
Bathrooms and dining area always were
Great place. I'm kicking myself for living in the area for several years and only trying it for the first time 6 months ago. Quick and friendly service whether you eat in or get takeaway. Very clean. Very reasonably priced. I'm not a sushi eater, so can't comment on that, but the soup, sala
Miyama is a great little restaurant tucked in a shopping center between a coffee shop and salon. My family loves everything from the appetizers (my kids like the Rock Shrimp and I like the dumplings) to the sushi, hibachi, and noodles. Would like to rate the food 4.5. Restaurant is clean, service
It was an informal moment with my wife for lunch. She was less interested in sushi but had some chicken which she loved. Being an experimenter at heart, I ordered something predictable and something not quite so obvious. This place is both accessible and a wonderful gem. I loved this moment and felt
I go to this place pretty often, and always have great sushi! I like to get the selection of sashimi, but everything I've had is good, and always quickly prepared for pickup. Definitely recommend this small place, for pickup or dine-in
Second time here and great food both times. Good service and sushi rolls were good. I am partial to their avocado eel roll. I tried the fried calamari and it was good. Glad to find a sushi restaurant so close to us.
Loved the miso soup (had to repeat- it was so good)and all the sushi. Fantastic services!! Made our weekend night lovely!!
The salad is great- they use the same dressing that the Japanese steak houses use. Edamame was also very good. But the chicken yakisoba, OMG, SOOO good! I haven't had it since I moved from Japan 18 years ago & it's exactly as I remember. I'll definitely be getting it a few times a month now!
2020 UPDATE
We really lucked out having the best Japanese restaurant so close to home.
The service is friendly and fast. Their menu is incredible.
On my son’s birthday he wanted his favorite dish from Miyama. They sent him a sweet (literally) treat to celebrate!
