So, I have no idea why this place does not have 5 stars. This place is legit for real authentic Italian food and the pizza, my opinion best in Sterling, so again I say why not 5 stars. Please folks do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some authentic Italian! The dinner bread, yeah fresh and amazing, and take some home to cut in half and put in the toaster. Wow! Quite amazing!
You will not go wrong ordering pizza here. Real and authentic, fresh crust, sauces amazing, and fresh cheese! No one in Sterling does pizza quite like this place! Trust me you will not be disappointed!

I stumbled upon this place when I was trying to find a good pizza place to pick up food last minute for my son’s birthday party. This place exceeded my expectations in many ways- the owner (Italian) was there to greet me in such a friendly manner and the environment was warm and cozy. Not to mention the PIZZA is incredible!! The crust is a perfect density - not over filling and a just the right crisp - they make their sauce from scratch and use other premium ingredients. I wish I lived closer!
My favorite local pizza place, wonderfully good pizza. Feels almost like New York. BUT folks... save yourself $, call in your order and pick it up yourself. Slice and other ordering services will massively up charge the menu by about 20-30% before tacking on delivery fees or tips (x-large pep on Slice is $28 but really is $20 if you call+pick up).
For what this is - an order at the counter Italian joint, we have a real gem that loves serving up food. My teen daughter was craving Eggplant Parmigiana and I just had Calamari, and both were great, but the spicy marinara that came with the Calamari was amazing yet simple. Good marinara with a load of red pepper...wonderful idea.
A wonderful little Italian restaurant near Dulles Town Center in Sterling. Excellent service, delicious food, attentive staff. Our dishes came with generous portions. New York style pizza is great. Recommended
Delicious food with excellent service. Owned and managed by Italian born and raised. Very personable management! We came in after 6:30 PM for dinner. Our wait for appetizers followed by our salads, then main dishes was perfectly timed. Our dishes were overly generous portions, which we ended up taking home leftovers to store for another night.

It's been a few years since I've been here. The food is as excellent as we remember. Still generous portions! Warm, friendly staff!
• I was graciously accommodated with a special "build-my-own" pasta dish: basically, Pollo Rigolino dished but swapped angel hair in place of rigatoni, added peas & broccoli. As usual, had to box up leftovers to enjoy at home.
• My husband ordered Penne Arrabiata. He finished the dish pretty clean!
Have been going here for lunch on average once a week; I enjoy the atmosphere and the owners are very friendly. It's in a bit of a hidden spot but if you want to try Italian food with a good mix, this is the place. Hope you guys are around forever; you rock.
The salad is delicious. However, it’s missing authenticity, its missing parmesan cheese, and it’s missing 🍋 lemon! I don’t need a lot of dressing, A tiny bit is fine! keeping things authentic goes a long way!
I’ve had pizza on six continents and Pomodoro’s ranks among the best I’ve ever had. This is REAL Italian pizza with flavor that leaves others in the dust. My adult son and I split a small pizza and we had enough left over to take home for a midnight raid on the fridge.
Somewhat fast casual Italian spot. Owner is an inviting and welcoming Gent from Napoli. The gnocchi plate here is delicious. The pesto chicken sub was also great. Prices aren’t bad for the portion sizes and quality.
Great pizza, solid garlic knots, good canoli, and wine. All for forty bucks before the tip. I truly can't complain, this place has top notch service and good quality food that doesn't demand premium NOVA prices.

Pomodoro’s is absolutely delicious, from pasta and pizza to salads y dolci. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is authentic. I’m spoiled on good Italian food being from the Northeast and think I have pretty high standards when it comes to it being Italian myself, so I can safely say you won’t be disappointed. It doesn’t hurt if the owner is a real Napolitano and his right hand man should be an honorary paisano.

Love this place. Been coming here for over 15 years and each time it tastes wonderful!! Very friendly staff and the service is amazing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves subs and pastas.
