We rented out Wendigo for our rehearsal dinner, and it was honestly incredible. The environment was warm, eclectic and classic, the drinks were yummy and flowing, and the FOOD. Wow, the food was absolutely delicious and such a fun menu that they put together for us. I heard the best things from my mother-in-law about how the staff helped in the lead-up to the night, and I just couldn’t recommend them more for any event or just dinner. Can’t wait to dine in when we’re back in town, thank you Wendigo!

My wife and I come here ever now and again for date night or when we want to be lazy and not cook. They always exceed my expectations. Food is always amazing and waitstaff are super friendly and attentive. Thanks again for another great night out!

Yummy fried tomato sandwich and green salad. Nouveaux American cuisine. Great beer selection. Vegetarian friendly. Buys from local farms. Fresh and delicious. Right on Main street. Open Tues night when most other restaurants nearby are closed. 40$ sandwiches and beers for two with tip.

The portions were really big, the food was amazing and at a very cheap price considering how incredible it tasted. We will be back. (Make sure to get the Poutine or the Cheese Curds, you won't regret it!)

Awesomely quirky little place with poutine that is out of this world. Plus THE BEST sweet potato fries I have ever had! Popular at peak hours, so do make a reservation.

Such unique entrees, each executed to perfection! Even the cocktails were special, as was the flourless chocolate cake that was warmed and served with ice cream and chocolate syrup - yum!

I really only bother to write reviews when a place is actually exceptional and Wendigo definitely fits the bill. What a surprise treat! We were heading to Brooklyn to watch a friend play music and needed dinner. Figured we'd just have to deal with random bar food, but then stumbled upon Wendigo. Online reviews were good, decided to check it out. Super cute, hip space without being pretentious, locally sourced seasonal menu with great tasting and good variety and portions, very reasonable prices for high quality, unique dishes. The place was hopping with Friday night dinner, but we were seated right away. Service fast and very friendly. We had the poutine, kale Cesar salad, and roast chicken with squash and yummy couscous risotto. Too full for dessert, but it's definitely try the flourless chocolate cake next time! Worth the drive from Madison, better than most Madison restaurants, too. Thanks, Wendigo! :)
