Best place in town for breakfast! The cook/server/greeter (owner?) was so upbeat and friendly. I felt truly welcomed and valued. The food was fantastic. My Belgian Waffle was the best I've ever had - perfectly crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. The eggs were cooked to order perfectly and the hash browns were plenty and delicious. Hands-down the best place for breakfast in Stow!

The food is AMAZING. But what makes this place special are the people who work here. My fiancé and I picked up breakfast this morning, and Brian forgot the cheese in our burrito (honestly NO big deal because my fiancé eats SO fast I’m sure he wouldn’t have even noticed lol) but he ran out and stopped us, made a fresh burrito with cheese and brought it to the car. The food is delicious, but it’s the kindness of the staff that will keep us coming back! Brian is top notch
Best breakfast place we have been to in years. The staff was very friendly, and food was so delicious my children asked for seconds. Great home cooked food. This will be our new breakfast place on the weekend.
Stopped in yesterday on a recommendation from Buckeye Sports center and had one of the best breakfasts I ever had. The pancakes are unique and they alone are worth the trip there. Great service, great food, honest pricing. This place is where you need to go!!
Stopped in while in the city for work, absolutely amazing! The owner Brian gave me and my coworker the best experience imaginable and those pancakes were to die for! Delicious home cooked style food and impeccable service, would defiantly stop back in next time I'm in the stow area!
Best of everything!!! Pancakes hands down the best i have ever had!!! Not to mention scrabbled eggs and bacon that are delicious!!! Love the owner, workers, and hometown atmosphere!!!
Best place ever. Very busy but worth the wait. Only problem need more waitresses. . Recommend this place.
The Food is Delicious! Fast, Friendly Service by Great Staff! I definitely highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing! First time there-- my boyfriend brought me. The owner was just so welcoming and kind. I honestly didn't know biscuits and gravy could taste this amazing! This is definitely going to be a new place that my boyfriend and I come to frequently!

Great place! We had a fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff, great service! We will be back!
We've been here twice. Great place to eat for your breakfast cravings.
We had a delicious breakfast with a very friendly staff.
Cute little mom and pop type of place.
But they have a great menu and quality food. It was so good. Great service as well.
We found this place close to our hotel and tried it. Very happy we did.
I got the Blueberry Crêpes. My friends got the biscuits and gravy and just regular egg and potato breakfast they also said it was really good!
Accidently found this diner while on a road trip. Very small diner in a strip of businesses. I'd say roughly 15 tables maybe, so prepare to likely wait during peak times. That wait included to be seated, for food, refills, and to receive our bills. Seemed overwhelmed and low staffed, but we were in no hurry. Food was good. Portions large. Service was very friendly given how busy they were.
I recently had breakfast at Garrett's Mill Diner located in Rockne's Shopping Center on the northwest side of Hudson Drive in Stow, Ohio. There is plenty of free off-street parking at Rockne's Shopping Center. The wheelchair curb cut/ramp from the parking lot to the sidewalk is in front of Rockne's. Garrett's Mill Diner is immediately adjacent to Rockne's to the west.
Stepping into Garrett's Mill Diner is stepping into a friendly, welcoming diner. There is a small counter immediately to your right with the kitchen and service area along the east wall behind that counter. Straight ahead are a number of tables with the restrooms to the north of the dining tables.
They request you wait to be seated. Two friendly gentlemen are the primary staff. Brian the Owner and the cook interacts with the customers since a short wall separates the kitchen from the dining area. He can see over that short wall and converse with his customers. The other gentleman seats the customers, takes your order, serves you your food, clears the tables and is the cashier. The day I was there they had another young man in training to help with the dining area.
They make you feel like you are a guest in their house. There are many repeat local customers so they know the majority of their customers and their families. There are a lot of local topics discussed and updates on neighborly news. Very homey atmosphere with folks coming in for take-away meals too. When vendors make deliveries they are offered coffee just like you would offer your neighbor who stops by.
All meals are prepared fresh when you order. With one cook this is not a fast food restaurant. You taste the freshness of your meal with every bite. The meals come out of the kitchen hot and tasty - no heat lamps here.
I ordered the biscuits and gravy breakfast. Very hearty and great tasting. The biscuits are not hard hockey pucks but are soft enough to cut with your fork. The sausage gravy is not too runny or too thick like a Thanksgiving gravy. The gravy is chock-full of sausage bits. You do not need to hunt for the sausage bits in the gravy. They are in every bite you take. You get your choice of egg and cheese to top off the biscuits and gravy. I selected scrambled eggs with no cheese. The eggs are perfectly scrambled - no rubbery nor runny segments. There are some home fries to complete the dish. Yummy! You eat with real metal utensils not plasticware and on real plates not disposable plates.
Their pancakes look tasty too. I will try the pancakes on my next visit.
They offer lunch and breakfast. The serve cocktails too. Garrett's Mill Diner is truly a family diner. All ages are served and feel at home. There is a cute high school couple having breakfast. Middle age friends and couples are dining there. Retired folks are enjoying their meals too.
Take a gander at their website. On St. Patrick's Day they had an eggs & kegger event. Just like a neighborhood block party. Brian is a creative and fun Owner.
We were staying at the Hampton Inn across the street and got tired of the free breakfast so we got carry out from Garretts. Glad we did. Great quality food and can’t beat the price. Very nice young man took our order over the phone and helped us when we picked up.
Truck stop food in a family restaurant, wife enjoyed her meal of eggs, bacon, home fries, toast. I had biscuits & gravy, home fries, eggs & coffee. Home fries are rather tasty, the sausage gravy was a bit salty otherwise good. It was a clean & homey place to eat. We'll have to return to try the pancakes.
Awesome service since rockneys closed and service ... Great met at door offered drinks as we waited for table food soo good you'd melt
We tried the Crepes with both sweet cream and Nutella (amazing combo,) the Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast, and the Bacon and Cheese Omelette Breakfast. All the featured items were delicious and the sides were great too. (That's the best white toast we have ever tasted BTW! We want that bread!) The home fries we're yummy too but we did get a couple that were real salt bombs, though. Overall, much enjoyed.
