Very happy qith our visit!
Our server, Julian, was great and didn't pressure or rush us on anything. He had great recommendations and was spot on with them.
Lobster Mac and Cheese to start was GREAT! Highly recommended. There were large pieces of lobster on top as well as pieces inside of it.
8oz steak was cooked great, and the garlic butter slice on top melted to perfection. Also, the mashed potatoes were easily the best I ever had in my life! The Shrimp Tortellini was flavorful, and the shrimp had a nice kick to them.

I don’t think I’ve ever had such a good experience at a nice restaurant like this. Not only was the food absolutely incredible. The service from out waiter Nick was also unmatched. We sat on the outside patio near the fire and Nick came to check on me and my date about every 15-20 minutes. It was not bothersome as some may think he was engaging and even explained everything on the drink and dinner menu. By his recommendation I got the white peace sangria and let me tell you… to die for. The lobster Mac and cheese was probably the best thing we’ve ever had! The filet mignon MELTED in your mouth it was incredible. We left full, happy, well served, and welcomed. All of the staff was very invited and warm unlike some fancier restaurants that are not as equal. The staff made it feel almost homey. All in all if your in the area and you want a nice sit down dinner, date night, anniversary, or what have you, DEFINITELY try this place and if you can enjoy the romantic patio by the fire. 12/10 wish we lived closer we’d be here more often!
Garlic is the perfect atmosphere and dining experience. I almost always sit at the bar. The clientele is diverse and interesting. The bartenders are welcoming and the food is perfect. It's my favorite place in town by far.
Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks. Victoria(?) was also a lovely waitress. The entree was a special that also came with 4 mussels (but I gave them to my date so they’re not pictured - he thought the mussels were great) and we also got calamari which I forgot to take a picture of before we inhaled it.
We had an amazing dinner. Food was delicious. Service was exemplary. Highly recommend when visiting the Poconos!
Lauren and Nickolai were amazing! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! I had a bite of my wife’s 8oz filet and it melted in my mouth. I had the lobster ravioli and it was amazing. We are coming back guys so I want to make sure that we get at least one of you. Great drinks too!
Great restaurant, awesome experience! I was vacationing from CT and definitely choose the right place! Lauren was working the bar where I sat and she was very friendly offering great service. If your lucky enough to meet the Kingsley’s that frequent there, you’ll be fulfilled for sure as they are very kind people. The manger was friendly also. Highly recommend Black Jack- filet medallions with asparagus- perfect portion and fair price. Hope to see the Kinsley’s again around the same time next year, visited establishment Aug 22nd. Thk u for making my birthday evening special!
Overall it was a great experience. Our server Santiago was very knowledgeable about each and every dish on the menu and his service was top notch. Food was fresh and tasty. I had the jerk shrimp and as a Jamaican, it could just have used a bit more spice. Wish the menu had a wider variety of options, but overall, my family enjoyed our meal…😀

This place was everything we were looking for and more. With only two steak options I was weary, but with how good this food is overall, that’s all that is needed. Started with the drink special from the bartender, the apple margarita. As soon as we tasted the drink we knew the entire meal was going to be amazing. We got the filet medallions on garlic bread with a blue cheese sauce as as appetizer and that was to die for. Also had a Caesar and a wedge salad and both of those were probably the freshest and best salads we have ever had. I ordered the filet topped with homemade Gorgonzola sauce with sides of the baked Mac and cheese and truffle fries and he had the ribeye with broccolini and baked Mac and cheese as well. The steaks were perfectly cooked and amazing. The main dinner portion did take a little longer than a normal restaurant but we went in knowing every dish is made to order and it is definitely worth the small wait. Our server Tricia was extremely knowledgeable and helped us out with recommendations or whatever was needed. We finished the meal with a toffee cake that was to die for. We talked about this restaurant the entire hour trip home we made to even get there. We don’t find places like this in Florida. One of the best meals we have ever had and we will definitely be back.
Food was good. Drinks were good. Service was friendly and professional. Appetizers were good.
Saturday (and Monday) the bartenders mix mystery cocktails, you pick Tequila or Bourbon and they get creative... We really enjoyed what they brought us.
My wife had the ceasar salad, and noticed it was heavily seasoned with garlic... got a good laugh when we remembered where we were.... her Ceasar and wedge were both very good.
We had the lobster ravioli, which was also very good.
The dessert was a toffee cake, and it was pretty amazing.
The staff was very friendly ND the environment was fun, we were there Halloween weekend and all the staff and the music were Roaring 20's themed.
Definitely plan on coming back next time we are in the area!

We came to the Poconos to celebrate our fall anniversary and found Garlic in Stroudsburg. Quite honestly - we were blown away. We live in Phillie, frequent New York, and have lived in St Petersburg. We seek out good restaurants and enjoy good food, atmosphere and service.
Hands down- this was the best experience we’ve had - a truly superb restaurant. Food was outstanding - presentation was gorgeous. The bartender created the best original cocktails we’ve ever had. But what created the outstanding “experience” was our waiter - Julian - who was so friendly, professional, and attentive. He not only carefully cared for our needs, he made excellent recommendations, asked appropriate questions to get to know us, and made us feel so welcome there. He was so pleasant to talk to - he made our night!
We HIGHLY recommend Garlic and will come back. Kudos to Garlic for creating a wonderful dining experience and carefully hiring only the finest staff. And thank you, Julian, for making our anniversary dinner so much fun!
Came here on a Friday night, there were lots of people though it wasn’t packed. I must say this place had a great laid-back fine dining atmosphere & our server was very attentive. I ordered the special which was an 18oz rib-eye crusted with herbs & spices over a bed of cauliflower, potatoes & broccolini. The steak was delicious although very fatty which I do not enjoy. Overall a great dining experience which was slightly more expensive than i’d like, but the atmosphere made up for it.
Everything about this experience was above and beyond. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and this place was everything we could have hoped for and more. Not only was the food and atmosphere immaculate, but we also had amazing service. Our waitresses for the evening, Faith and Rylinn, were fantastic and so attentive to our needs throughout our meal. I could not have been more grateful for the two of them. They are amazing and the restaurant as a whole was the perfect way to celebrate this very important moment in our lives. I would highly recommend to any who want the best overall experience provided to them.
