Delicious food! The best steak (It was the ribeye special recommended by our waiter.) that we ever had. The fried green tomatoes was plated so pleasing to the eye and tasted just as good! The waiter, DJ, was the best waiter that we ever encountered! He was very professional, thoughtful and accommodating! He kept the iced tea filled without asking! He didn't judge us when we ordered the Cream Brulee as appetizer! 😂 His genuine warmness made us feel at home and even made the food tasted better, some how! I did, however, get a little creeped out with the Mardi Gras masks over looking us with the hollowed eyes. And the faces on the wallpaper made me think of supernatual stories which were kind of thrilling and intriguing! My husband, however, felt nothing mystic about the place. He just loves the food!
The atmosphere was absolutely great, this was our first visit to his spot and we will be back, our wait staff was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, the bar served great drinks. We’ve found a real nice place to hang out. The food was excellent, I had crab cakes and chicken and sausage gumbo and my wife had the snow crabs, the food was hot and well seasoned.
Thought we’d give this place a try a few weeks ago and have been back almost every Sunday since then. We love trying new places in search of great food and friendly atmospheres. The Rouxpour has delivered on every level. Amazing food, super tasty drinks and we’ve yet to have a bad service experience! If you want to escape to a little piece of NOLA go for Sunday brunch and enjoy the house blues band along with some shrimp and crab fondue and the charbroiled oyster trio.. they are kick ass!

The staff and the food was absolutely wonderful. Atmosphere was on point and just a great place to dine. That was my first visit, but it will definitely not be my last.
My wife and I have been going to the Sugarland location for years and have never had a bad experience. Food and service always excellent and the best roast beef Po-boy (three napkin) outside of Mothers in N.O. Our diet is certainly in trouble as a new one is coming to Katy around the first of the year, LOL.
Great food, drinks, and professional staff. This place was recommended by a coworker. Nice area! This will be one of my favorite restaurants to dine. I will be recommending to all my family and friends.
Love that place. True New Orleans flavor. Love the 3 napkin roast beef. The best !!!
Gumbo was in point!! Perfect fir the weather we were having on NYE!!
Our server, Catherine was awesome!
Love this place. Service, food, drink menu, and atmosphere outstanding. I have taken friends. Parking is also a plus.
I visited for the 1st time last week, and I liked it so much I went again a week later. The Bienville oysters were great, but a couple were...crunchy. I did find a super tiny pearl in one.
The waiters were pleasant on both visits. My mom had the salmon (not photographed), it was burnt & bitter, we sent it back & the chef sent us a better one. The crab stuffed flounder & the snapper were fantastic. I thought the stuffed flounder was more delicious, but the red snapper was a larger portion.
We had an early birthday dinner here, arrived an hour early & we were still seated right away. Our server was amazing along with the food & drinks. We ordered cosmos, Weismann smash, oysters, red snapper, gumbo, chicken & sausage gumbo, wedge salad & étouffée.
I visited twice within a 2-week span prior to doing my review. I had Mitch as my server for both visits and he was really great. My first visit I tried the Blueberry Martini, Cajun Deviled Eggs with Shrimp and the Zydeco Chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans… OMG! It was all so delicious, definitely a perfect meal.
My second visit I tried a lemon drop, the featured lamb chops, the Pain Perdu & Fried Chicken and my daughter got the omelette. The drinks were great of course and … OMG for the lamb chops!! They were a little overcooked for my preference but they were still delicious. The lamb chops came with potatoes and spinach which were really great but the Brussels sprouts were undercooked. My Pain Perdu (French toast) was good but I was not impressed with the chicken, it was definitely lacking seasoning! My daughter ordered the omelette and it was also really good. It was accompanied with a potato hash and they had a great flavor and were well seasoned.
All in all, I will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This was my first time dining here and I left very satisfied with my experience. For the appetizer, we ordered the spinach Madeline oysters, the Rockefeller oysters, and the shrimp and crawfish fondue. Of the three appetizers, the shrimp and crawfish fondue was my least favorite. This dish was unremarkable. I’m going to be honest and say Pappadeaux’s fondue is ten times better. Out of the oysters, the Rockefeller was my favorite. It was nice to taste more gourmet oysters, but next time I come, I would probably just get the signature oysters. The oysters were good with all the toppings, but nothing beats a basic chargrilled oyster to me.
For my drink, I ordered the Mexican martini and it was really good. I would order it again. Lastly, I ordered the boudin stuffed chicken for my entree. This dish was really tasty and filling. The chicken breast was cooked perfectly and paired really nicely with the boudin and creamy Gouda cheese sauce. The potato cake was also really tasty. I’m a mashed potato girl typically, but I appreciated this elevated potato side.
A nice seafood restaurant offering a wide variety of fish and meat dishes. I enjoyed a grilled shrimp salad with tangerines, cranberries and goat cheese! Definitely festive!
The overall experience was top notch. Food was great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive but we had a couple seated next to us and their conversation was making us uncomfortable. Not the fault of the restaurant of course but killed the atmosphere a bit. Oyster apps were delicious and the Pork ribeyes were tender and juicy. Pricey but if you want upscale Cajun food it is worth it.

The Char-grilled oysters 😋 Fantastic, I really enjoyed the Cajun deviled eggs, the Redfish, crab stuffed flounder & the fried seafood platter was delicious & great portions also had a bread pudding to go was very good! The employees were very friendly but the atmosphere inside was a little too loud. But other than that little thing, everything was wonderful.
Love this place! Food and service is top notch (been here twice now)! We went for Sunday brunch and the dishes we ordered definitely makes us want to go back there again!
Absolutely amazing food! It was a teeny bit slow to get our meal but it was worth the wait. The prices are a little higher than what you expect at a family oriented restaurant, but the taste proves why it's set at that. I will happily eat here again.
Pablo was an excellent waiter. He recommended the Chilian Sea Bass. My daughter said it was delicious! I ate the grilled chicken pasta, which was very good as well.
The greeters were polite and my server was extremely accommodating to a party of eight. There was a pianist playing 80s R&B music for entertainment. I had no complaints on my Zydeco Chicken.

My friend took me there for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious. We both had the zydeco chicken and it was all so good. We also had the ruby red sparkling drink and that was also very good. The chocolate dessert was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday! Our server was in training and she was really great. She's super sweet, very attentive and I know she's going to do very well!
If you want to know anything about any of the liquors that they have talk to Tabby! She is so knowledgeable! The food is top notch! Also definitely try Tan's Mignonette sauce, you will not be disappointed.
The food, ambiance, service, and atmosphere was 5 stars. My husband and I went for a lunch date and it was such a great experience. I am very nitpicky about my food from the seasoning to the presentation and I had zero complaints which is very rare for me . We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and efficient. The food was fresh, hot and seasoned to perfection . The drinks were strong and on point .we will surely be back again . The price was good and we got plenty of food because we ordered lunch specials.
This is a really jazzy place for New Orleans cuisine!
Loved it. Don’t sleep on any of the menu items here! I took photos of a lot of them as we had a group and they rocked.
The food was fantastic. I had the french quarter fried eggs and boudin, which was deliciously salty and a hint of sweet with the significant slice of cornbread. I would definitely reccomend this place and bring friends and family here.
The food was descent. The gumbo was really good. There were things on my plate that I didn't like but my husband did and vice versa. We probably will not be returning. It was okay. Our waiter Alex was great and there is a young lady that works at the door from Louisiana, she was nice enough to help me decide which cocktail to have for my anniversary. We did have a great time at the restaurant. The ambience was really nice.
