Very good food and very strong drinks! I love that they give you a free app with a drink purchase, and the golden cups were delicious. We also got the Pad Thai which was amazing. Will be back to try more dishes.
Such a beautiful restaurant with great ambience, delicious food and amazing caring staff. Very good food with vegetarian options. They customized our food according to our dietary restrictions. We went there with a friend and ordered mini items. The portion size is huge and you will take the rest to go. We will definitely return to this restaurant anytime we are in Sugarland one of the best and authentic Thai food I’ve ever had.
Service was great! From the moment we walked in to being seated. I came here for my birthday dinner with family and we all loved the food. I usually take pictures, but I was very hungry so got right into eating!
The inside is clean and I like the decor. I remember coming here for lunch and they had booths. So they definitely did a whole new look which is beautiful! I did not expect the inside to look like this. Our server was helpful and attentive even with us being a large group.
The Thai tea was delicious! I don’t like too sweet drinks. So this was good for me.
Appetizers I recommend the wings of paradise, and vegetable crispy rolls.
For the entrees I enjoyed the fish. My dad and brothers really liked it! The red curry and Panang curry were delicious!
Very clean location and the food is very tasty. The only negative thing I could say is the size of the portions which could be bigger. The decor and ambiance is great and has a modern feel.
We love the food so much that we order take out from here often! They never disappoint! We’ve been eating here for years and highly recommend it!
Visiting for the first time after the renovation... Love the much brighter and a more open concept floor plan. The food standard is maintained and never disappoints... Everything's always fresh and made exactly to order, except today, however, the veg spring rolls seemed re-fried or perhaps over-fried.. 😞 Excellent idea to serve Thai Iced Tea in a bottle with ice in a mason jar! 😊
You can’t go wrong with Thai Cottage - Sugarland’s favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant since they first opened decades ago! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the food delivers with authentic, freshly made Thai classics alongside their own house specialties. Ask about happy hour deals and enjoy the new decor in this updated location! Portions are very generous! The lights could use a dimmer :)
We love this place. The staff very helpful, the food very good, the place got just a makeover so it looks very nice, I just have one complaint: they don’t have anything to change diapers and as a mom of two under two (toddler and baby) is outrageous. I needed to take both of my kids outside to the parking lot to change them on the trunk of our SUV. Specially if on their description says Family friendly and in the amenities says: good for kids and restrooms…
This is one of my go to Thai places. It’s close and the food is consistently well done. Met a cousin for lunch & I ordered 2 appetizers ( golden shrimp & wings of paradise). My lunch meal was the yellow curry with chicken and a side of chicken noodle soup. My drink, Thai tea.
First off, I love the new look. It’s bright and well lit. I loved the previous decor but this has widened the space, allows easy access to customers and bigger pathways to get in and out of seating.
I started eating before I took my pics. Lol. I was ready to chow down. Everything was good except the shrimp was a little too golden. I’m not taking a point off for that because it was still good and it was minor.
I really like that they bring the Thai tea in a bottle along with a glass of ice. Love it! I am not a fast drinker. I can pour a little at a time then roll out with the rest.
My cousin enjoyed her food also. I didn’t get a pic. She had the garlic & pepper lover. Her plate was clean. Lol.
The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. I’ve ordered to go here several times before. Take home items have the same taste and amount as dining in.
I've been coming to Thai Cottage for lunch or dinner since I was a teenager. It's one of my mother's favorite restaurants and they've been remarkably consistent since I could remember. I'm pretty boring with my orders - basically just yellow curry or pad thai with chicken and a 2-3 spice level depending on how I feel that day. It's basically great every time. The Thai Tea is really, REALLY sweet so just be mindful of that if you decide to order it.
So much yummy food!! The spring rolls are so packed with yummy goodness, they make up for not ordering a salad. The waitstaff was very friendly, attentive, and appreciative that we were there.
I do think they could brush up on cleaning the restaurant. A simple magic eraser would do wonders on the bathroom doors and the walls in the main dining area.
Fresh food. Every plate, soup, salad , dessert is yummy. Fast service, groovy fresh atmosphere.
The food here is incredibly consistent. I had the roasted duck curry. Not a stretch to say this is one of the most complex and unique items on the menu. There’s pineapple chunks, spice, creamy curry, and tender duck - all served with a side of rice. Not insanely spicy, but still complexly flavorful all at the same time.
Definitely worth a stop if you are ever in the area. My food was warm not piping hot leading to my four star review. Had it been scaldingly hot, I would've given it 5 stars!
Had a great dinner here. The food was very good and the atmosphere was interesting and nice. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back again. Great place to eat.
This is a good place for dine-in or take out. Nice selection to choose from and price ranges are affordable. Expect the possibility of being served by multiple wait staff- it can come across as awkward but it's a smooth transition we received our appetizers, meals, and dessert quickly. Overall were extremely satisfied with our visit and will be returning next time we're in Sugar Land
Came here for dinner with a friend. It was my first time coming here, ever lol. It wasn’t busy for a Friday evening. I got the pad Thai and it was good! I really liked how they used baked tofu instead of fried. My friend got the red curry with jasmine rice and she enjoyed it. We also got the Thai tea and it comes bottled! Served with mason jars and ice. It was so cute. The interior is big and they have a bar. It’s actually really pretty inside with the greenery and florals. Will add this place for my Thai cravings.

Tasty food, fast service, reasonably priced. I went for lunch and had “peanut Rama”. Came with rice, salad and small spring roll for 8.75. You can choose level 1-5 spice. Level 2 is what I’m used to as medium. Great flavors and veggies tasted fresh. Plenty of friendly servers who work together efficiently to provide fast service. Was full but no wait for a Wednesday lunch. Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes!
