Easily the best craft beer joint anywhere. Great staff, great service and most importantly great beer. A must for every beer nerd out there.
We had the private room in the back for a small party. The food was very good, tasty and timely. The drinks were good as well but the best part was the service. Excellent, prompt and very efficient waitress. Highly recommend the Flying Saucer in Sugar Land.
Service was , all six of us loved our food orders, don’t skip getting some pretzels. Yes they occasionally run out of a beer but the servers know and make good recommendations.
Great beer, great food and the best service!!! What more could you ask for?
Flying Saucer Sugar Land is a great place to visit for something different!
My fave waitress was hustling last night, running whole night. Her service made the experience better. Awesome selection of beers
Always find great beers here! Lots of choices whether it on draft or in a bottle or can. If you love beer this place is for you!!
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium is a great restaurant! The staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I absolutely love the variety of drinks to choose from. The facility was cleaned and the service was quick. The restaurant is also situated in a safe area. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
Stopped in for lunch- huge beer selection and flavorful food! Seated & served pretty quick even on a busy Saturday afternoon. We had the tator tots, chicken snack, & a burger that was recommended by the waiter and everything was great! It has a bar vibe inside but the food is definitely not “bar food”.
I really enjoy the vibe and dynamic that Flying Sauce brings to you.
Being a friend to Flying Saucer loyal customers, I have come here many times and you can always find something you never had before.
Flying Sauce is known for its beer selection but their German plate is amazing. Highly recommend.
If you are carving a beer, just come here.
My husband and I were on a pretty random trip to Sugarland so we decided to have dinner in town. I looked up best places to eat and most of them were all right next to each other. We love beer and thought the name was really cool so we decided to go. The staff was absolutely wonderful. We really loved the atmosphere too. The place is beautiful and we really loved the music that was on. Of course, the draught selection was fantastic and they were running really good deals that night. Most importantly, though, the food was impeccable! Both of us got an entrée with steak and their bleu cheese butter with a salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and we both loved what we got and agreed the next time we're in Sugarland we're absolutely going back.
Top spot for craft beer enthusiasts. With an extensive selection of over 200 brews from all over the world, there's something for every taste. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about beer, providing excellent recommendations and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy it in. The food menu complements the drinks perfectly, with tasty bites like the chicken and waffles or the loaded fries
Okay, i am slightly biased! I love the beer selection. I've been to multiple flying saucers and each one has been unique. One thing they all have in common is awesome people and fabulous beer. If you want a place to go sit, have a cold beverage or two and chat with friends, I strongly suggest you look up and find your nearest flying saucer! Food is pretty awesome too! The San Miguel Burger is really good. I like the rocket tots. Yep, plenty of good food. Hot served quickly. Great people. And you will always meet cool people there. Maybe even me!!
Great place with plenty of drink options. Staff is always friendly while providing awesome service. Food is delicious though the menu could be improved. I would highly recommend this place over other local places.
I have missed the Flying Saucer! Great selection as always. I got a flight, a pint of the Avery Maharaja IPA and a Paco Bowl - all of which was phenomenal!
It was busy for a Tuesday night but we got a table just fine. Service was a little slow to begin with but overall a great experience as always 😊
This is the default place for beer when I'm in Sugar Land. Pretty nice atmosphere and wide range of beers to choose from. If you're local there's all sorts of rankings with how many beers you order and you can have your own saucer on the wall. The only complaint is that this place closes too early at 11 pm.
Edit: December 2024. The dine in experience was great, fantastic staff, and great fresh food!

I visited the downtown location and tried the Sugar land location on a To go order.
I ordered the exact same both times. All flat wings, another order of mixed drum and flat wings, and a spicy sausage, bacon, and pepperoni pizza.
I did not check my order until I arrived home and noticed they gave me an order of all flats, just as I ordered, but the other order of wings was ONLY DRUMS! Then, my pizza was not only cold but was also a Flatbread pizza when it should of been a regular pizza!
Bottom line, the downtown Flying Saucer is a further drive but certainly worth it.
They have so many different choices for craft beer here. They are lacking vegan options for food though. I just got the sharable dips with guacamole and hummus. Be sure to ask for no cheese on the hummus because they will sprinkle some feta on it.
Happy hour hangout with friends here was really fun. Perhaps attributed to the generally lively ambiance and our amazing server. Beer selection was truly extensive, and I had the chance to try a new flavor which I enjoyed. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was absolutely delicious. So was the buffalo wings with blue cheese.
Staff helped me find this beer. They were attentive and open to questions. The beer I settled on was not the best beer, but the bartender was very knowledgeable about the beers and allowed me to try separate IPAs. The beer was just not what I was expecting, but it was smooth and a nice way to end the evening.
If you're a fan of craft beers then you've got to come here to whet your whistle! This Flying Saucer location is fantastic! There is plenty of free parking and it's a great place to walk around with all the shops here. This is a "seat yourself" bar and we were greeted immediately upon sitting down. Our server was knowledgeable about all the different styles of beer and she was fast, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Definitely get your UFO card to stay earning your way to a plate on the wall!
Excellent beer!
And I had some kind of chicken bowl, also very good 😊
I'm a regular at the Downtown location, but found myself on this side of town and couldn't turn down getting a burger (no burgers on the menu downtown) and a $4 Texas draft. Fast, courteous and professional service by our waitress, great tap list, and easy & free parking in the nearby garage. What's not to love?!
