The food was excellent, best Ribeye thus far , my waiter was courteous and friendly, my only complaint was the large , loud table behind me , I love the Sinatra playing and the dim , peaceful atmosphere, but I was seated next to a large group of loud drunks and it ruined my experience last night .
Very good place and the waitress are awesome! I will recommend this place to my friends and family.
The best filet mignon prepared to perfection. James the bartender were on point with the drinks. Impeccable atmosphere from the hostess to the wait staff! Outstanding!!!!
We've been to the other location, but this is our first time here. Great customer service and amazing atmosphere. I ordered the lunch fried chicken but got spinach instead of the mashed potatoes. Seasoned perfectly, no need to add salt or pepper. The photo shows after I cut it up and added parmesan cheese.
This place was awesome . The food was fresh well seasoned and delicious. Place was clean calm and friendly attention. Chris was the main worker and he is very polite. Great service all around. I’ll be back.
Branzino, Shrimp Bisque (perhaps a tad too salty), fried Oysters (appetizer), were all very good. The Scallops were to die for; will definitely get them again. Onion Rings were OK, but as thin as spaghetti (won't get them again). Brussels Sprouts were tough and overcooked; good flavor, though. Bread Pudding was good, but far from the best we've ever had. Tables are spread out, with most of the staff wearing masks. Bartender has no clue how to make a Manhattan. Friendly folks; they are trying (our first time back after they closed for the pandemic and remodeling).
Our group dinner in the private room was well planned and executed. The space was nicely laid out for our gathering, and had classy decor. It's great that we had access to the airy patio overlooking the lake as well. The servers were particularly attentive and polite. Neither my wine nor water glass got empty at any point during the night. And this included times when I walked around with my drink to socialize. My rack of lamb dinner was tender and flavorful, and served with well seasoned potatoes. My date had the New York strip steak, and she remarked that it was delicious too. Fortunately, I still had room for dessert because the tres leches cake was so good! It was a perfect night interacting with friends while being catered for by the amazing team at Veritas.
There were 5 of us for lunch. It was very enjoyable. We all chose the 3 course lunch. Mine was the Chicken Anchetta, in the photo. Tender and delicious. Mark ordered the burger, medium rare. Perfectly cooked. Great fries. For an upcharge, 3 of us switched our desserts to bread pudding and chocolate cake. All very good. We didn't get our server's name. I wish I had. He was doing it all. Hostess, server, table clearer. Aside from the chef, he was the only person we saw. He did an amazing job, and earned a tip bump. We'll definitely go back.
A surprising experience. The service was great. Food was delicious. We had the filets. The lounge area had someone on keyboard singing yacht rock songs, that was fun.
My boyfriend and I went here for our six month anniversary. The vibe was excellent and the food was just as good. I had the meat ravioli and he had the chicken fried chicken. Both were fantastic. I'd also recommend the fried onions! Absolutely delicious. Since it was our anniversary, they brought us a piece of tres leches cake with "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate, and a small glass of rose with our dinner. A very sweet touch that was very tasty.
We'll definitely be going back for regular dinners!
Went here for my birthday 1.30.18 Excellent service and great food. Very nice atmosphere for couples and celebrations.
My family and I just love this place! They have some of the best food you can find sugarland!

Great place around the corner from us. Nice inside, staff is always friendly and welcoming. Good menu, the food is always cooked to point and very tasty. Nice selection of liquor and wine too.
On the pricey side, but worth it. Very nice atmosphere being on the lake. Food is right on target.

White chocolate banana pudding was delicious. Had a bar surf and turf, steak was good, but the bacon wrapped shrimp was flawless and tasty.
Went in to grab an adult beverage and an appetizer. Service was great. Calamari was good. They have a wine room.
Great service and a wonderful Filet Mignon. It’s close to my home so it makes it an easy trip. I also had the Ahi Tuna that was fresh and fragrant. It’s great for date night.
I took my wife to the new neighborhood place for Mother’s Day. We loved it. With everyone suffering from a staffing shortage we were seated promptly and the service was excellent. The manager greeted us immediately and his staff was working very hard. The food was superb. My wife has a new favorite dish in the beefsteak tomato salad. Will try to return as often as possible. And we will try to recommend their business to everyone we can.
I attended a private party here. It was a sit down meal affair. Cocktails were available along with wine and soft drinks. The food and service were fantastic. I had eaten there before and will be returning. This is a great place
The food and service were good. My beef tips were a little over cooked and luke warm, but the flavor and texture were very nice. Atmosphere is okay. You're pretty close to other tables, so it's not very intimate.
We went there for Father's day and had a great time. My vodka martini was perfect. My filet was perfectly cooked and My wife's shrimp scampi was delicious. The bread pudding was fantastic.
