Large location with patio smoking section and party room. We were there when it was very busy, but all areas could have used some cleaning attention. Great fish and shrimp tacos, queso, and margaritas!
They have some great vegetarian friendly quesadillas but it's very much of a sports bar atmosphere. This is not something for me but if that's your thing go for it!
Eaten here twice now and have not had a bad experience yet for lunch. Great food and prices some of the best tamales north of Mexico.

GREAT!!. This Berryhill's is the best of the entire chain. They have a better menu, better food, friendly staff, and nice bar area. You won't believe the difference in food quality relative to the balance of the Berryhill's. IT'S GREAT! I pride myself with having eat at all but one location, and a couple that are no longer around (Fairmount Pwky and Rice Village). I like all Berryhill's, but I LOVE Sugar Land. Their chimichanga is outstanding. I've tried at the other locations, and it's soggy and mushy...stay away!!!

It’s a Texas place what can I say. I wasn’t overwhelmed with the salad I ordered but my wife really likes the Baja tacos she ordered. The woman who took our order was also running around bartending, she worked really hard.

The chimichangas had a nice flakey crunch and a slightly sweet sauce making it unique compared to others we have tried! The tamales were very yummy. I recommend the bean and corn because it has an extra kick of spice compared to the pork and chicken. The white queso is very nice. Friendly staff and very quick service. I highly recommend this place. My family and I will be coming back for sure to try some other menu items!
The food was great!! The young man working the counter greeted us warmly and had great mastery of a massive menu; so his suggestions turned out well. However, we couldn't enjoy the patio due to the amount of smokers present.

Very comfortable and friendly environment, I love seeing customers, just chit-chatting and laughing while enjoying their food and drinks!
All employees are so friendly and attentive, from the front to the kitchen, they bring you chips and salsa with an big smile, while you wait for your order weather is to enjoy there or to go! I go very often because I work by walking distance. 🚶♀️ The food is simple, but flavorful and they never disappoint with the service!
Everything is old fashion but very clean!

Been coming here for years and the food never disappoints! The freshest products always! Atmosphere is hip and family friendly. At night it is more of a bar atmosphere if you ask me. Patio seating, indoor seating, party room, catering, bar seating and even a game room with pool tables!! Eating after a long day and I love this place! Other berryhill restaurants are not done the same way! You can tell the owner really cares about quality I got the seafood enchiladas and they are amazing every time!!!
We attended a birthday party in one of the restaurant's rooms - enjoyed a catered Tex Mex appetizer buffet, multi sport TV screens, pool table, and foosball. Good food and outstanding service from servers to bulbous keeping tables cleared and clean.
It is very casual, fun local restaurant with a full service bar.
Food was top notch. Good tamales, tasty brisket taco, and standard cheese enchilada. Nice that I could get all 3 on a single meal so as to mix it up. Serve was almost all self-serve, and no one told us where to find silverware or salsas. Otherwise, very laid back atmosphere. Good for a quiet lunch!
Our go-to place for fish tacos. Their soft fried Baja taco is so good, with the slaw letting the fish shine. Really used to enjoy their salsa bar, but the Coof has killed that.

Black beans were swimming in liquid and flavorless.
Table service was terrible. Food was thrown on table. When asked for chips the person brought 1 basket half filled. Asked for more he grumbled and never came back. Chips are cheap, put them back on counter for people to take what they want.

I actually opened this location as a manager and bartender. I'm so sad this is the only one left! The food is still excellent, as well as the service! I could eat my weight in their grilled fish tacos...so good! I live about an hour from this location, but I'm always looking for an excuse to get over there!
Good, but not best, fish or shrimp tacos. Free chips, salsa. Loud music. Semi self service. Vegan tacos which my son liked. Minimal disposable service items.
First time, I had the taquitos from the appetizers side and they were decent and filling. I also got a 20oz Margarita on the rocks it seemed like it was very weak, but after I was done with it I actually felt a bit of a buzz (not the best margarita but not that bad either).
Fish tacos were okay. Little too sweet for my tastes but good flavor. Service was prompt and food quick to come out.
Decent value for the money.
They have daily specials. These are Tuesday $2 Baja Tacos. Really fresh and Yum! Servers are friendly too. I’ll try all daily specials!
