We’ve been coming to Los Tios for awhile. Their food is consistent with great portion sizes. We grab a booth and dig in to hot chips with fresh salsa and guacamole.
My husband loves their anniversary nachos and I always appreciate their sizzling fajitas plates that I can slather with their delicious garlic butter- not just for Benihana rice!
The puffy queso is satisfying to break into and their charro beans are flavorful. I like to get a margarita on the rocks with chopped fresh jalapeños in them for a nice kick.
The service can be hit or miss but overall it’s a solid place.
Always excellent service, food sweet tea is #1 unless your having drinks, the margaritas are the best! drinks at happy hour with the best bartender, REYES who just got a 1st place trophy for his custom drink.
I like this cozy, little neighborhood Mexican restaurant. It gets pretty busy during peak hours so I like to come when it clears a little. My favorite entree is the Acapulco plate with a margarita. The Tres Leches cake is also very good if you have room for dessert. The service here is excellent. I've never been disappointed.
I absolutely LOVE this place! I’ve been going to this restaurant for the last few years since my move here, and it’s now my main go-to restaurant in the area. I’m dining in here or ordering take-out weekly from here since I don’t cook.
Los Tios is wonderful, classic Tex-Mex food.
Tonight, I had the #6 (queso puff, taco and cheese enchilada) and a schooner grand gold margarita. Their grand gold margaritas are the best!
The food is always great and consistent. The staff are always wonderful as well.
Reyes was our server tonight and he is fantastic! He always remembers what I usually order and is always energetic and fun to talk to. Reyes recently won a margarita competition, so I’ll be back within a week to try his award winning margarita.
If you enjoy Mexican food, this place shouldn’t disappoint.
One can dine here for less than $20 per person…I only selected the $20-$30 per person range because I had a margarita with dinner. It’s quality food for a great price.
Pretty busy on a Friday night. A bit of a wait time, but drinks from the bar helped. Our server was good, not great. More table touching would be suggested. The food came out fast and was very tasty!

My family and I have been coming here for over 35 years. Great food and killer margaritas. Reyes and Louis are the best bartenders you can get. Jose and Merlin feel like part of the family. The bar is great where everybody knows your name. Looking forward to the next 35 years!
Love the margaritas love our Reyes bartender love that this location is the “cheers” of Sugar Land. All the waiters and waitresses so friendly. We’re there every Thursday night and always have so much fun.
We go to Los Tios in Sugar Land often (once a week or so) and we like the food and service. Also I like to sit on a table with a tablecloth and they have a very nice section with white tablecloths. They also can accommodate you with off the menu requests if you like - I order many times the deluxe taco on a large plate for instance (I don't eat much). Yesterday the 30th of August 2023 for instance we were served by Salazar that was excellent so are many others that serve us from time to time. In my opinion they serve the best grand golden margarita in Houston.
Our entire family loves Los Tios! We have been coming here for years. The food is excellent. The margaritas are worth the visit all by themselves. Best of all is the service. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. They know the customers by name.
We have been going to Los Tios since my husband and I started dating. We have visited many of your locations and have loved the consistency of service and food. We have been visiting the location at williams trace and highway six for quite a while now. Jose has always been an example of the quality that Los Tios set as their standard of excellence. He is personable, helpful, consistent in his service and always welcoming. He is an asset to what we’ve come to know as what Los Tios has set as their standards. His smile is contagious. Thank you for your consistency in service for my husband and I for the last 40 years.
My family has been going to Los Tios since I was a baby I am nearing my late 20s! Jose has been an important part of our meals when we eat here. He takes care of us everytime and always greets us like family. The food and drinks are some of the best in town and the service is unmatched! We love our Los Tios family!
This is not only the spot for margaritas but also for great service. Go to the bar and have the bartender Reyes serve you. Him and his bar-back Brandon will make sure your glass is never empty and your food is brought to you promptly.
One margarita is more than enough but I can never help myself to make it two!

Went out with some friends for a bite to eat and decided to try a new restaurant. We were more than happy with our service by Rosi. A real sweet and attentive server that made our visit above average. She was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and made some great suggestions. Will be coming back in the future.
Food is always good here whatever you order. Maybe Thanksgiving week is not the time to eat here. Very crowded, had to wait 20-25 minutes for table. Service was slow and noise level too much for conversation, especially with tables close together. With a half dozen Mexican restaurants closer, it's been a while since eating here. Used to eat at the one at Bissonnet & Fondren in the early 70's.

BEST salsa, food, and Mexican restaurant in America! The salsa is SO fresh and delicious, their chips are extraordinary, their quesadillas are extra cheesy and yummy, they have a wonderful kids' menu, their drinks are divine, and the service is fast and always very friendly. On top of all that, their prices are very reasonable. We go to Los Tios time and time again because it's always exceptional!
We eat here almost every single day, and twice on most days. The food and prices are excellent, but the service is exceptional. Ask for Marvin, Rosie, or Jose if you want to be treated like family. We recommend the quesadillas, chicken enchiladas with cream sauce, and the tacos al carbon. Their Sunday morning breakfasts are also fantastic. Can’t recommend this place enough!!
Service here is great the past couple of times we've been lucky enough to have the same server she's been on point every time the rest of the staff always seems to be busy and on top of their duties as well but she's stood out.. Thanks Rosi for always getting it right! Food was great sadly I didn't snap a pic this time.
