My sis and I really enjoyed our food. She had the sampler and I had shrimp quesadillas. The margaritas (Blue Iguana & Sangria Swirl) were great...really good flavor!👌🏽 Our server (Armando I believe) was attentive and welcoming. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm on that side of town.
The food here is wonderful. I really like the fried avocado tacos, and we have gotten there seafood tacos and plates, and they are great too. The people that work here are nice.
Sometimes the food can take a little while to come, but they provide chips and salsa while you wait, so you don't really feel it.
Service was a bit slow in the beginning but it was good overall. Reasonably priced (about $50 for two people). I got a fajita platter with steak, chicken, sausage and shrimp. Absolutely amazing. The tortillas were the best I’ve ever had. 100% would suggest it and looking forward to returning.

This is the first time I've been in this restaurant I passed this place many time. I absolutely extremely very happy to try this place :-)! Once you walk in there is a bar and when you leave you can get free hard candies or after dinner sweets :-)! They do sell the praline candy which I think it cost too much! They do have happy hour food special :-)! Some of their menu is very pricey for a place like this it is a very old and authentic Mexican food and restaurant :-)! Their salsa is absolutely delicious and I recommend everybody to order beef fajitas it is so tender and delicious and planning to eat and to take home even though it is very pricey! The waiter we had was fantastic service he took excellent care of us look for the guy with dreadlocks he is a very kind man great service :-)! He pays attention to us :-)! They have paintings and items that I saw it was like blast from the past:-)! I do admit the chips was too oily and stale and too hard :-(! They are not a very busy place but the food was delicious to us :-)! I hope you all enjoy your dinner there someday when you go visit :-)! I do I meant that they do need a host or Hostess to pay attention whoever enters the door like customers like us! The ladies restroom kind of smell musky and humid they need to put some sort of fragrance inside there and the door needs to be always closed and it needs a little stronger air condition in there!
The service is always wonderful! The only complaint I have is the beef seasoning is weird tasting. It changed a few months ago and not for the better in my opinion. All the other food is awesome.
Their Fajita Special is freaking awesome! We love the flavor of all of it. The rice is the best i have ever had and the refried beans are exceptional. The 3 different meats are excellent! Chips and dips are great, guacamole is awesome and the pico is really good. My Favorite Mexican Restaurant in Houston TX area by far!!!
When we walked in, a gentleman who looked to be the manager or owner greeted us (he was dressed in casual clothes and not a uniform). We asked to sit at the bar and he obliged. He ended up being our server for the evening and he was a delight. We ordered the house margaritas, frozen and they were very good! They came in an easy to hold beer mug with handle. We started with the fresh guacamole, I then got the street tacos and my boyfriend got the chili relleno with ground beef. Everything tasted great! Our server was friendly and attentive, though we're pretty simple diners to begin with. The atmosphere was very family friendly and it has a nice sized main dining area. The bar was cozy and clean. This was our first time there and we will definitely be back!
We've been coming here for almost 10 years. While the staff occasionally changes (sadly), the food has always been excellent and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. Even during COVID we would get take out from here because we enjoy it so much. The location is kept clean, and as COVID begins to "slow down", the staff are still respectful of the possible problems and keep the tables clean, while many still wear masks. Very responsible behavior, friendly, and great food; what more could you ask for?!? If you haven't been here yet, stop by and try it out!
It was pretty decent Mexican food. They have a happy hour special that has $5 apps and $2 off margaritas. I liked their green salsa the best.
Our family loves Casa de Bravos. Great food, chips and salsa and of course the bar drinks. The service is always friendly and attentive. We are regulars here and always feel welcome and remembered. The prices are very reasonable. You can't go wrong with Casa de Bravos!
Have eaten there every time I come to visit. Awesome food and very excellent staff. Never get food wrong and always keep our glasses filled.
Food is great and the price is even better. Ask for Sonia when you go in and you will not be disappointed, she is a great server! The steak fajitas are probably the best I have ever had and they do all day Happy Hour prices on Thursdays!
I have been a repeat customer here for 5 years! I have never had a bad experience...ever! The food is absolutely THE BEST Mexican food in Houston! This is one of the few places where I'm perfectly comfortable eating alone...Mario always takes great care of me! He has for 5 years!
They started us off with bombass chips and salsa AND salsa verde. Really REALLY good salsa, so good I asked to take some home. And then when the food came around... blown away! I got the lunch special torta and my spouse got the lunch fajitas. Presented phenomenally. Nothing was slopped together. It looked delicious and we all know we eat with our eyes! Service was great. We were checked on and well taken care of. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here!
