The restaurant is located on the small side street near Sugar Land Marriott across from the Perry's. Extremely competent and friendly wait staff. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my friend ordered a breakfast burrito. Prices are about average but you would expect in Town square (slightly on the higher end compared to restaurants that are not in that kind of premium real estate space). With some hot sauce, the shrimp and grits tasted great but felt a little skimpy on the shrimps. To get four more shrimps, the price would have been over $10 so we just pushed through lol. Parking can also be a challenge if you're not familiar with the way things are set up there. Best tip is there's a parking lot immediately behind, close to the freeway.

The meal was tasty. The grits were lacking something and tasted a bit bland even with butter added. Perhaps some bacon grease would help. The fruit seemed fresh in the cup. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Coffee was served in a large branded mug reducing the need for refills. Not a fan of the modern pop music. If the music doesn’t complement the ambience, why play it?

Toasted Yolk is located across from Perry's Steakhouse in the Sugar Land Town Square. Free parking is available in the garages surrounding. You're able to put yourself on the wait-list ahead of time through Yelp or Google (via Yelp). The wait was short since we put ourselves on the list. We had the Southern Fried Arnold with Cheese Grits and the Shrimp & Grits. The Southern Fried Arnold was absolutely amazing; the gravy on top of the egg and chicken was just perfect. All the flavors complemented each other. The cheese grits were, by far, some of the best I've had at a restaurant and the fruit bowl consisted of grapes and cantaloupe. Very good. The shrimp was very flavorful and had a kick of spice to it with the grits. Also very good. We didn't try any of their adult beverages this time, however, all their mimosas looked amazing as they were bring brought out to the other tables. The service was okay. The waiter was friendly but lacked urgency. At one point we asked for water and it wasn't until the 3rd time that he walked by that we asked for an extra coke, that he remembered the water previously ordered. The atmosphere was great for the most part but far too many kids screaming or crying from multiple directions. It didn't strike me as that type of restaurant. Overall, I'd visit again for the food because it truly was delicious. I'd love to try a mimosa as well sometime.

Hadn't been in a while and it was Fantastic! Junebug had Shrimp and Grits and she Loved it! I had 2 eggs and a Cake and it was Good! (I did get an extra order of Hash Brown Casserole as the side with my meal was inadequate) Get in here quick and eat!

Made a family visit and tried several dishes including yogurt parfait, buttermilk pancakes, French toast, shrimp with grits, golden gate omelette, and grilled chicken sandwich. The yogurt parfait was made with vanilla yogurt and granola, which made it sweet and not the best I would say. The buttermilk pancakes were huge, well-made, and fluffy. The omelette had great flavor and came with either grits or hash browns and toast. The hash browns are well made. The shrimp and grits were simple, but the shrimp was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. The grilled chicken sandwich was decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. The French toast was not the best had no flavor to it. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is located in a great area. Overall would recommend the pancakes, shrimp and grits.

Good spot for brunch or lunch. I tried the strawberry fields salad and the buttermilk pancake - both pretty good. The service was ok though

I've been wanting to try The Toasted Yolk Cafe for a while now, and I'm glad I finally did. I tried the Shrimp Omelet, which was a delicious and filling way to start my day. The omelet was made with bacon bits, cheese, shrimp and sliced mushrooms. Everything, including the seasoning and tasty siracha sauce was a delicious blend of flavors. The meal is served with fresh fruit and salad topped with a scrumptious lemon vinaigrette sauce. I highly recommend this meal and will have it again on my next visit! This place is at the top of my breakfast list. Yum!

We enjoyed our brunch here! Tried the Paloma and it is very fresh tasting. Omelet is a solid choice. Biscuit was buttery and soft. Brisket tacos are flavorful with the green salsa. The egg in the hole was crispy and buttery. Hashbrown casserole could have been a bite more seasoned but still good. Loved the coffee mugs! Lots of options for food here. Parking can be tricky. Parking deck is your best bet at certain times.

The food was really good, and my server was great as well. I got the avocado toast, which normally comes with a salad, but I ordered hash brown casserole on the side. The hash brown casserole was delicious, but that paired with the avocado equaled too many mushy foods. Next time I’ll get the avocado toast with fries.

Omg! I really liked this spot! Atmosphere: Family-friendly to business breakfast/brunch/lunch. Dress code: Casual to business Cuisine: Southern comfort breakfast and lunch with a few healthy items. This was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. David was our waiter and he was such a sweetie. He took very good care of us. His recommendations were on point. There is plenty of seating and they have a cute outside section! There was something upstairs but we didn't go up there. Overall I'm definitely going back a few times so I can try their adult breakfast drinks and some other menu items.

A solid, but not overly special option for breakfast/lunch in town. The service has always been pretty good with a friendly staff, though the wait times on food can vary. The Brisket Scramble was our favorite from the different breakfast dishes we ordered (very cheesy with good flavor). The Southern Fried Arnold was decent, but was definitely a little dry. Adding a little hot sauce or maple syrup made a big difference. From the lunch menu, the Homemade Chicken Salad Sandwich was the winner of the bunch (very fresh and flavorful), with the Patty Melt being a distant second. Between the sandwich itself (bread, lack of enough sauce, etc.) and the disappointing Junkyard Fries, I'd definitely avoid that side of the menu going forward.

Food was not that great, my Benedict had a chicken that is so hard to chew, egg cooked instead of English muffin was so hard to chew or cut with knife over easy, caramel machiato has no caramel, crepe was full of strawberry sauce and couldnt eat even half of it. the only thing that came out right was the pancake, and hot chocolate. I have been at another other location @ Washington street and server was great attentive, atmosphere was amazing and food was great!!! That is why I went to this location thinking they will have the same thing. Disappointed!

Their breakfast was delicious, filling and proportioned well. I enjoyed my waffle and bacon. My kids loved their meals and suggested we return again! So did my husband!
