Awesome atmosphere! This is my new place to hang out. Love the food and the Latin music (and dancing if you're not bashful). It's very upbeat here and that's what I appreciate and enjoy, especially after a hard, tiring day. Service is fast and friendly, especially at the bar. I also love that it's family friendly. The photos are from 3 separate visits.
We tried Lago Mariscos for the first time last night and really liked it. It is completely different from other Mexican restaurants in the area since they focus on seafood. There are so many great choices on the menu and it took us a while to decide. We ordered the empanadas and ceviche as appetizers and both are delicious, will definitely ordered again. To have variety to try, we ordered mango fish, grilled shrimp tacos, and a fried seafood platter for main courses. All are delicious but we probably won’t get the fried platter in the future as it was just like any other you can get from other places. Overall the food was good, the atmosphere was good, and the service was good. We are glad to add one more good restaurant to list of options.
I ordered the Enchiladas del Mar. U get 2 flour enchiladas w/ shrimp & crab meat inside & topped w/ Monterrey cheese, I think. It served w/ a " Louisiana " sauce that's not actually a " hot " sauce which was good in my case. I think the sauce was between the enchiladas & the rice, but not very sure since there wasn't very much of it & I couldn't taste it. It's also served w/ black beans & a Chinese fried rice. The shrimp & crab meat enchiladas were very good & tasty. The black beans were very good. Sorry, I should have tried the fried rice, but forgot. My only complaint about the enchiladas were they should have come w/ more Louisiana sauce, because I couldn't really taste it. Would come here & order this again ? YES ! ! ! !
I sat at the bar, and all the servers were on top of everything. Never had to call them for them. The food was delicious. I've been there twice and I get the Charola. Which has a little of everything. My favorite is the oysters. They have their own special sauce the use. Great flavor. There was a DJ there tonight and that made it nice also! Great service, Lago Mariscos!
Great place! I always love trying the different menu items. I shared the paradilla deliciosa and it was so much food! Very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The octopus on the platter was tender unlike some places that overcook the octopus. Will be back if I'm ever in the sugar land area :)

Oysters are very fresh and humongous. Tried their crawfish and shrimps as well. Nice seasonings to them. And tacos were good. Definitely recommend for its food. Gets kind of loud with the music some times but didn’t bother us as much.
Great food and cocktails! I’m not a seafood eater but they have great options for me. Beautiful outdoor scenery with great views of the water.
Great Great place. Very Authentic Mexican food. My wife says the best tacos since we were in Mexico. Delicious..i will definitely be Back. Only issue is the chips that they have are definitely not on par with the rest of the food. They need to get the chip maker from papasitos. And this place would be a TEN!!

Great place, we love the food here. We have been here twice and have loved everything. The pickled carrots are so good. Seafood is very good. We love the outdoor area as our little one likes to be outdoors and watch cars, so, huge plus on that. Wish more places had great outdoor dining options like this. We will definitely be returning often

Lago Mariscos , Mexican seafood place in sugar land . restaurant is just next to the lake! Food is super fresh and really delicious. Loved the octopus my favorite!
We always enjoy their large patio and very friendly service. We have visited at least three times now. We really enjoy the variety of their menu offerings, and have always have had above average service from their attentive staff. The food is not quite as good as some other "Mexican" or "Seafood" restaurants, but the atmosphere, service, patio, and "Mariachi's" always make for an enjoyable visit.
This place is so good that I had to visit twice this week and call my family and tell them to make a trip down because it’s that good.
The waitress Maria (Venezuelan) was so friendly and helpful. Her recommendation for food choices was appreciated.
There is so much food to choose from it makes it difficult, but in a good way.
The drinks are great, the service is excellent, you can’t go wrong here.
But remember this is not a TexMex restaurant. If you don’t like Mexican cuisine then please go somewhere else.
First time. It was delicious. Took a long time for server to great us, but she was friendly.
The food was good. I had the fish over rice with the lump crab sauce. I forget the name of the dish but it had a lot of flavor and was very good. My wife enjoyed her food as well.
However, there seemed to be some mix-up between the waitstaff about who was going to take care of us. The waitress who seated us and took our orders never came back. We had to flag down a hostess to get more drinks. We overheard our original waitress arguing with another server over which one of them was our designated server. Once they figured that out it got a little better.
This was our first time here so we're hoping this isn't the standard in the way they run their restaurant. I noticed none of the other tables seemed to be having these issues. We will definitely be making another visit.
Just about the best brunch environment in Sugar Land. Just incredible food. Has a very San Antonio vibe with Marisco food. Everything was great. The food, the atmosphere on the patio, and the Mariachi Band playing.
