The service was fast and friendly. Staff was also very attentive and courteous! I got the Lunch special half and half (soy garlic and spicy) combo fried chicken (very crunchy) with their seasoned fries and it was absolutely delicious. Spicy is strong spicy, not weak spicy. It will cause lips to tingle, eyes to water, and nose to run depending what level of spice you can handle! (Mine level is pretty moderate.) Please note they have Lunch Specials between 11am - 3pm, if you get something from the regular menu prepare to pay a bit more. Nice location with chair, booth, and outdoor seating available. They also have wall sockets with regular plug and USB cord charging capability. Would definitely come back!

We decided to try Bonchon for the first time and made the choice to order online and picking up the food. The process of ordering was very easy to navigate and once you view your options you then select what you would like to order. They tell you a time for pickup and after the order is placed you receive an email and a text. They keep you updated on your order through text so we just arrived and let them know. Picked up the food and was back home. We ordered a bit of everything such as 10 spicy piece chicken wings, pork buns, Korean tacos, bibimbap seafood, and bonchon wrap. It was all delicious. The wings are probably the favorite out of everything we ordered. It’s so crispy on the outside and the flavor was so good. When they say spicy they mean it, but not too spicy. We will definitely be going back again. Pricing is decent and portion size is good.

Went there for lunch yesterday. The fried chicken or wing was very good. I forgot what I ordered but it was very good but too much rice in the bowl. It is pricey for lunch but non the less, I like it. If you never had Korean fried, definitely recommended.

Bonchon is a fairly new restaurant in the Sugar Land area, opening in fall of 2017, but I finally visited April 2018. Not sure why I waited so long, guess I just had to be in the mood for Korean chicken? Service was a mixed bag. I didn’t eat in, so I cannot attest to the table service personally. I did run into other coworkers who were dining in and they said their service was fine. For the to-go counter, I entered and was greeted immediately. I told them I wanted to place a to-go order; they politely told me they’d be right with me, and I saw they were processing payments from about five tables, so I wasn’t too bothered. However, the greeter/cashier went to the tables to hand them their receipts, rather than giving the checks to the server, so that added about five minutes to my wait. Another person came up after I started pacing [impatiently] and took my order. They told me it would be about ten minutes for my order to come out, but it ended up being about 17; not bad considering how busy they were. They have a small seating area for to-go orders and those waiting on a table. Note: there’s a bench with their sign above it; if you’re 6 foot or taller, be careful; I hit my head… Once food was ready they called me over to verify the order. Everything was packed well and carried fine without spilling or damaging the food. It kept temperature well, too, though I work less than five minutes away, so take that with a grain of salt. Anyways, the wait was worth it, the food is excellent! I had a combo of the soy garlic and spicy wings as well as the seasoned fries. What I had was great, the spicy was indeed spicy but not unreasonably so, though I had to take a break with the fries, which were also very good and crisp. Got takeout with two other coworkers, they got the bibimbap, bulgogi tacos, kimchi, and a side of rice; both loved every bit of their meals. Pricing is a tad high, though; the regular menu pricing is too high while the lunch special menu brings it to more reasonable territory. If you want the chicken or tacos, go during lunch; otherwise, try their other menu options after 3pm.

Lots of seating, quick service and extra crispy chicken!! Loved the korean fried chicken.. the spicy flavor will really get ya :) Also tried the pork bun but felt the sauce they added was too much mayo.

First Korean fried chicken and kimchi. Both delicious. Bulgogi tacos were incredible. Octopus dumplings didn't have much octopus, though.

Best items on the menu IMO? The pot stickers and boneless wings 😍 The pot stickers with the soy garlic sauce is perfecto! As for the boneless wings I love those in any of the flavors. They are a great ratio of crunchiness to actual meat. The hot sauce is definitely HOT but has a great flavor as well. When I went to this location there was only 1 other customer and it took a while for the food to come out but my bf and I weren’t bothered by it because we enjoyed the view and good conversation. My bf really likes their slaw that comes with the wings when he’s not typically a slaw person. But I repeat: pot stickers!!

Great flavorful chicken and really good seasoned fries. A must have every time I visit. The waitstaff was very friendly, and the service was fast. The wings vary in spicyness depending on when you go, which I thought was a little odd. Not a huge deal at all though.

It was very nice, a back patio with a man made pond. The seafood fried rice great and the green tea ice cream was also good.

Great Korean Fried Chicken so far I can tell in Houston. Love the way they season the chicken (Soy Garlic, Spicy) very deep in and crunchy. You must eat with Radish side. Love their backyard patio with great river view.

Nam (not sure if that's how you spell her name but she was a sweet Cambodian girl) was incredibly patient and helpful in helping me order as it was my first time there. The soy garlic wings are bombbbb and paired with their kimchi and pickled radish, it's the perfect mix! Even better than pickled daikon imo. Would definitely come back and try more foods.

Our favorite spot in Sugar Land! Our usual order consists of the Seasoned fries for appetizer, then we get the spicy drumsticks and Chicken Katsu. The food always comes out fresh, crunchy and very tasty! Our server is very friendly and always makes us feel welcomed. I forgot his name... sorry. But I definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

I love this place! Best chicken wings I've ever had. The only thing is the spicy wings are too hot. The flavor is amazing but gets over shadowed by the heat and my lips literally burn. Sometimes they get the sweet and spicy perfect but most times it's too hot.
