This has been our go-to for Chinese take-out for the last few years... until now. Something has changed and it seems the chef's at China Chef have decided that everything must be sweet... sweet chow-mein? Same experience the last two times. Three strikes your out!
Call an order in and it's done by the time you get there. Always fast! Have tried quite a few of their dishes but especually like the moo goo Gai pan. Been in the mood lately for chicken on a stick and vegetable mai fun...yum! Always enough for dinner and lunch the next day :)
No pretense of authenticity here, place is rated highly by/for locals, who want everything fried & Sweet Heat flavored - PEERIT!! Nothing like any Chinese you’ve had practically anywhere else. The Lo mein is spaghetti noodles full of carrots! Hard, hard pass. Prolly ok if you want fried wings & ham

Always love the food, from chicken wings, to dumplings, house fried rice, crab Rangoon , egg drop soup, lo mien, chicken teriyaki, all of that a yes!!! Ohh and egg rolls mmmmmmm
When I called to order the cashier said 10 min. She was on point, my food was ready and really hot. Food was delicious and hot and flavorful.
Best Chinese takeout in Sumter. Fast service too. I always order online and they have food ready and hot quickly!
