Review Texadelphia - Sunset Valley

We ordered the South Philly and it was the BEST philly cheesesteak I've had ever!!! The meat was tender and juicy and such a great flavor with the house-made cheese whiz. The cook was so friendly and we will definitely be coming back again.

My favorite is the founder's favorite. Haven't really tried anything else but I can say the cheese steaks here are awesome. The staff here is nice and I didn't have to wait long for my order. There isn't much of a wait here the few times I have been.

I hadn't eaten here in years before this visit. The bread and tortilla chips were much better than I remembered. I just wish online ordering was still up or they'd at least consistently answer the the phone for call-ins.

I love this place but for the last 2 months I haven't been able to eat there. Did you all change your hours?? Website says your open till 9pm but I've gone many times at 6pm and the store is closed.

I came by to pick up a Founder's and waffle fries, and online it states they close at 9pm. I arrived at 7pm and everything was shut down and closed. Disappointed!

Solid cheesesteak shop and I've been a fan for decades. Growing up in Austin, this was my introduction to the cheesesteak sandwich and (homer alert) I think they hit exactly the right note for my palate. I usually get the Founder's Favorite. When browsing the condiments, get the yellow one. It's some combination of dijon mustard and ranch (at least that's what MY tastebuds are telling me) and I could put this stuff on anything. It's addictively-good. The standard side item is tortilla chips with red salsa - which I find a nice diversion from what you might expect (i.e. french fries - which you can, of course, get if you want) Go getcherself a cheesesteak. You'll like it!

Was better than I was expecting. The fact that I can put queso on a philly cheesesteak is pretty mind blowing. The queso and guac were also really good as well.

The food is not bad but I find it to be incredibly obnoxious that everything is on the side. They sell fries. They sell extra meat. They all sides of cheese. They claim to sell "famous Philly cheese steak fries" too but when I order them I get a side of fries a side of meat and a side of cheese that I'm expected to assemble myself. If I wanted 3 sides i would order 3 sides. Also their tables are never clean; even when I'm the only person there and they aren't doing anything.

Place was warm and welcoming. The staff though didn't know much when it came down to portions. I told them it was my first time and wanted to know how much meat came on a sub because I wasn't sure if I needed to double the portion or not. The food was good and the tables were clean. After I finished my meal, i questioned myself. Was dinner worth it here? I liked the taste but the experience plus the price for chips without queso or salsa and drink... let me add when I went to see if I could just get a small cup of queso which I would be happy to pay 3 dollars for.. but to make me order a whole thing of chips plus queso is ridiculous. I had two meals with corn chips (no queso).. I didnt need more chips just the queso.. So just because my son liked it, I'll recommend one visit. The price for a meal would be better spent across the parking lot at lubys or something but if you dont mind paying 20 dollars for 1 sub 1 kids sandwich a 1 regular drink and 1 kids cup and (corn chips with no queso or salsa...) at least try it.

Miss this place in Houston (glad they're coming back!!). Only thing that would have made it perfect is a larger outdoor seating area. Other than that, food is great and staff was incredible

Got the usual great cheesesteaks, but also go to a veggie sandwich for a vegetarian kid. She said it was spicy and wouldn't eat it, which we said wasn't true bc there is nothing spicy in the sandwich and she was punished for lying for the last 2 hrs. I just took a bite of her sandwich (we took almost all home) and it's spicy AF. So far beyond a japapeno or 2 somehow slipping in. Not. Cool.

I haven't been to Texadelphia in years. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. I had the Founders Favorite and my husband had the Hickory. We both enjoyed our subs. We also had the waffle fries. They go good with the mustard sauce blend. My husband liked the chipotle ranch sauce. Overall, a fine lunch.

Poor management and rude cashier. Plus they want to make sure that no one in upper management can be contacted so if you notice there is no contact info and when we asked for it they gave me the store number.
