Amazing place, food is out of this world! Got to try new things and walked away purchasing there awesome version of eastern Carolina bbq and homemade coleslaw for another later meal. Bob the owner knows how to do it right! I highly recommend anyone to vist this jewel. The staff is also so friendly and makes you want to come back again and again.
Best pecan pie ever! Everthing I have ever eaten at Archibald's has been great, but from now on, the pecan pie is on my "must have" list.

This is an unexpected treasure of delicious food. The quiche is light and fluffy with huge servings. The pastries, pies, biscuits, and food is awesome. I highly recommend you visit this treasure while at Holden Beach, NC.

First time eating here. Sandwich was delicious! Staff is very friendly and courteous!! After chatting with the owner she gave me samples of her crab soup and dill shrimp pasta salad. Both are out of this world!!! Will definitely be back again this week!! #supportlocalbusinesses

I live in Cleveland, Ohio area but my in laws own property in Holden beach that we visit. Since we have discovered you guys we all have fallen in love with your Bran Muffins. So much that if one of us visits we bring some back for everyone. I would love the recipe. If you are able to share it.
We ate there again this year while vacationing at Holden Beach. New owners but the crab cake burger was just as good as before!! Staff was very friendly and attentive.
From someone that comes from a restaurant background, the price of everything has gone up. From takeout containers to napkins, and of course LOBSTER, historically high inflation has taken its toll on everyone including small businesses like Archibalds. I love this place because the people who run it are 1. Super kind and very generous 2. The food is always consistent and delicious 3. The prices are fair. If I don't like the market price, guess what? I buy something that's more affordable. Just some "food" for thought for all the complainers.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid whenever I am at Holden Beach! I love Archibald’s - the food is always fresh and the workers are friendly. My favorite is the egg salad sandwich. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. :)

Nice, clean little place with very friendly service. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Before we get to the quality, everything is served in styrofoam, regardless of if you are eating in or taking out. There are cheaper and more enjoyable disposables than styrofoam. We ordered 6 menu items and every one of them were lacking in flavor and proper execution- stale bread, cheese not melted, off temp ingredients, etc. Crabcake was mushy, lacked of flavor and barely warm. The shrimp salad was reccomended and it was actually quite delicious. Everything else was really underwhelming, especially the $25 lobster roll. We own and operate restaurants so we totally understand how difficult this business can be, especially during these times. I gave 4 stars because I know this is an independently owned restaurant that does not need vague, bad reviews. They do need honest feedback and return customers in order to be here year after year. We've been coming to Holden for years and really, really want to like some local restaurants but, unfortunately, so few seem to make an effort to deliver. Yes, prices are high every where but I'll gladly pay a premium for a good meal that is properly prepared.
